\0/ well we can change that....if you want :P i was like that to now I remember a dream almost every day ^_^besides forcing me to wake up in the middle of sleeping using some hair-brained method (hopefully not involving blue lobsters), what did you do?
I've never eaten any of my dreams
now i have a question for you though homer do you believe there is a difference between a OBE/Astral projection and lucid dreaming or are they one and the same. i've heard many different stories and participated in many arguments over this concept xD
"How good is your dream recall?"
as for the dream recall i guess a better question would be out of how many nights a week do you remember dreams...
regardless though I am going to tell you to start a dream journal though.
Has anyone here had a recursive dream, where you dreamt you were dreaming, and woke up twice?Yeah, but unfortunately, I woke up from a nightmare into a nightmare. In fact, I was nightmaring and woke up into "the nightmare is reality" if you want, so when I woke up for real, I was quite happy.
Has anyone here had a recursive dream, where you dreamt you were dreaming, and woke up twice?
Also, on the subject of reality checks, I've heard digital clocks have bizzare dream behavior.
Do you all feel pain in your dreams?
You may have still been under sleep paralysis.
Has anyone here had a recursive dream, where you dreamt you were dreaming, and woke up twice?Someone I know had a triple recursive dream the night after she watched Inception.
Sleep Paralysis while awake SUCKS. You feel trapped in your body and it can be terrifying. :s

Lucky ;.; you be a natural good for you :P
and i have yet to have a proper spectator(third person) dream. they sound interesting
and sad to say my control is around .01% ... but if it was not that low i would have never gotten into the topic and learned every thing i now know!!! so im content......to learn more to control more and better :P
yeah was not sure which you meant as some people clarify spectator/third person together with dreams..sounds interesting though really does....sounds like a movie actually...just a much better version of "3d" xD
I followed your advice and started a dream journal. I just had an interesting dream. It was about two websites one someone else made and one I made or was in the process of making. (both on programming, of course :P ) In the dream, I wasn't using a computer to look at them, but rather the dream WAS the website, if that makes sense.
na that happens alot to me as well. probably right at the end of a rem phase and your body is coming down from the Sleep paralysis. still at least you get good sleep xDAh, got it.
if you want to learn follow along with what i told homer (http://ourl.ca/11407/221414)
the dream journal is the starting key it makes magic happen ... almost literally ^_^

Thanks for the explanation, Geekboy!
Well, this dream really means nothing, and never will. But i remember, in a dream, arguing with a McDonal's worker that you were supposed to get 2 apple pies for a dollar, not one.You are! :P
On the topic of Binatural Beats, my mother is an occupational therapist, and she is one of the only people in the are trained to give a special kind of therapy based around binatural beats. I technically have tons of tracks like that that I *could* give people, I just don't know if I'd be allowed to. Each track has different effects in general, and also different effects on different people. Some tracks don't work at all for some people. Others work really well.
I had a dream where I ate chalupas with cheesy suace and then flew away to a distant world. :w00t:
That's what Lucid Dreaming usually entails, I've only done it once or twice. Kind of hard to when I don't dream often.
(true) Today I dreamed that my Total Post Ratings reached +41 and was growing permanently.Bump, just for the fact.
Only in my dreams :'(.
EDIT: after connecting here, I noticed that I really got a +1during that night!
EDIT: I also noticed after that the +1 is at this post so it wasn't that night...

My irc dreams all involve USB catgirl/me facepalms
My dream is mostly normal (i.e. walking down the street, etc) D:

You can change that, just tell your self you will do </insert crazy idea here> in your dreams. eventually it will work xD

but when you know you are dreaming, it takes all the fun out. When I know I am dreaming, my dreams start to lag out like crazy because i keep thinking that i am dreaming.
*cliped* “You know what else is interesting? Page 529 in your textbook…”
And then I woke up.
I dreamed that I was dancing with Barney... AHHH!!! :banghead:
Every other way has a good possibility of messing up your sleep schedule and still relies on a journal
the only thing i can think of is taking about 150-300mg i think it is (i need to recheck dont go on this value) of B-10 before sleep it supposedly really helps with memory retention. But i am avidly against supplements and stuff so i dont recommend you do it im only stating it for general knowledge ^_^
I have horrid dream recall. It drives me crazy when I can remember part of my dream, but some of it just slips away. Is there any way to improve that, besides the journal?
Do any of you guys have jumping occur frequently in dreams (as in most dreams involve jumping)

Actually, the scene changes are completely different dreams. You dream every night, every time you enter REM sleep, which is, iirc, 3-4x a night.

correct but not always. the scene changes do normally occur during the rem changes. but they can also happen mid dream as yo uleave rooms and such. happens to me all the time. it really just boils down to luck/what you are doing :P
I meant the action jumping. In almost every dream I have I physically jump.
I sometimes lucid dream, but usually (like the one I posted) I don't know what I'm dreaming. That was also one of the few dreams I remembered.
Sometimes, when I daydream, it's like I'm dreaming lucidly ( I think).
I don't have touch in my dreams, or, if I do, I can't summon it up in memory. I also don't really have smell.Sometimes, when I daydream, it's like I'm dreaming lucidly ( I think).
this happens alot actually to people for various reasons. but its not hte same. its not as sensory complex i guess? its only vision and hearing more than touch and such so its less of an illusion and easier to control if your lucky ^_^

I tend to look at my dreams as a reflection of who I am and my emotions for other people. I have very little sex drive, and I prefer it that way. It makes my life so much easier without the temptation.
bumpRISE FROM YOUR GRAAAAAAVE
For some reasons lately I sometimes dream of some songs ideas and even hear the song in my headThis happens to me all the time! Some of my best composing is in dreams. ^^
For some reasons lately I sometimes dream of some songs ideas and even hear the song in my head, kinda, then when I wake up I forgot most of it x.x
I had this happen with calc games too. Also after one of the drama incident last month I had a bad dream that Juju was moving to another city that is far from where I live x.x. That was kinda scary
I wonder if that could be because over a year ago I actually had plans to move far away? (That was before meeting him irl btw)
Not rly. I mostly keep the peace. I host it and all computers have same IP now as we are forced to play through port 80. Our school stops us from doing things via proxy so... I ccan't ban indiv computers :/
BTW, does any one of you have lucid dreams?Me too, though the problem is that it often happens in nightmares.
I have them rather often and it is pretty awesome :D
BTW, does any one of you have lucid dreams?Apparently I dream a lot about the animation I'm planning to make. Then I wake up and realize I don't have such skills nor made that progress. Funny thing is in my dreams my imagination goes wild but when actually trying to work on the story I can't remember a thing or think of something good :P

I almost never dream D:Same here and when I do, I don't remember much. I don't pay attention to these so I forget. :P I actually tend to dream awake of geeky stuffs that I actually remeber. Kind of like trance. *.*
In fact you almost dream every night but just don't rember it when waking up. Avarage is about 3 or 4 dreams per night.I almost never dream D:Same here and when I do, I don't remember much. As long as you don't get any premonition dream in the same fashion as in Final Destination O.O
But why did you force yourself to wake up ? :( Could have been interesting. No thanks :P
You usually aren't the most rational of persons when asleep so when something scary happens you are mostly like "OMG GTFO THIS IS SCARY" and when you realize oh its a dream the best way is waking up. Also forcing yourself to wake up is always... interesting. I did it a few times.I don't see why it's not rational to be afraid when something scary happens :P
