Post by: Eeems on December 23, 2009, 06:08:32 pm
Ok, I've uploaded all my projects to a folder on my site so anybody who wants to play around with anything of mine, just take a look.

Sorry 'bout the doublepost again
http://future_history.freehostia.com/vgopher.php
here is a better browser for the cache, if you have a really slow connection though don't use it due to it renders thumbnails of pictures.
Props to Tsukasa for making it for me (it's still being worked on kind of)

Wow, Grey Fox looks cool.  I'll have to mess around with it sometime, once I get DCS to work again. (Wierd glitches and stuff happen when I run the App)

Ah hmmm, strange. You don't actually have to run dcs to use it btw, it is basic.
Yeah I consider greyfox to be my first great project. All other projects before that were very ameture and not much good coding was involved (although I'm sure I can do tons of optimization to greyfox). I tried making a game called Fleet with it and I almost got rid of all the bugs...I'll have to upload that today so you can play around with it. Also don't forget to complement TsukasaZX on his vgopher that I linked to :p

I just looked at it and I'm impressed!
TsukasaZX/SubaruZX, that's a pretty cool system! (vgopher)

Cool.
I was going to do input and textwrap too. >:( Oh well...

Hey you are using the IDE I have done to HTML, CSS and JavaScript. ;D Wonderful to see it used.
I have worked a little on that. But I didn't do any PHP code yet...
When I have some usable PHP code done I will make a topic and upload the files on Omnimaga. ;)

Now a question: How do you did this? I want to know how to do that...

Lol yeah :p
well I don't actually use the IDE anymore now that I got an app for Christmas that does it for me.
Making password protected directories is easy, you do it on your control panel for the host. And it seems my iPod can't load it x.x

Yeah connection seems a bit spotty today, try every so often, because it seems to be flashing off and on.

Edit: it's back up just to let you know.

Ok, this is a quick update, not on the project cache, but on the viewer (vgopher). I have successfully modified it and made a iPod friendly version. So when you go to vgopher, it will automatically detect if you are on a iPod/itouch and redirect you accordingly. You can still see the full version if you want, you just have to manuelly change your URL. Although I'm going to add a link at the bottom. Also, on the iPod one, it successfuly will use any theme you choose. :D if you have a iPod/iPhone, go ahead ANC check it out :) tell me what you think :)

Looks good now. ;)

What are the main modifications to make a website friendly to iPod?

I use something called iWebkit and it provides all the css/JavaScript needed to make it iPod compatable.
Check it out here: http://iwebkit.net

Cool, I have to search something equivalent to PDA's and new cellphones.

Actually this one will support the new cellphones, and most pda's it's just aimed to look like iPod apps.
