Lol, maybe, and also with the new multi theme support, we can see hidden post texts :P (especailly with the 3rd theme that looks like the old board we had on Invisionfree)
That is why I use very small font to hide.

SMF doesn't have a spoiler BBcode?
Maybe a quote or code box with font colour corresponding to the box do the job. I will try.
Small fonts shows in Opera. In opera text can't be under a certain size.

Unfortunately SMF has no spoiler BBcode but I could probably add some mod that adds one

I didn't remember some browser have minimum font size. Firefox minimum is not set by default but Opera is I think.
The spoiler modd would be useful.

Also quotes and codebox colour are theme dependent. :( We can't use it.

Well, it definitively looks like the activity peak we had since Early March until Mid April has definitively arrived to an end. May 20th 2010 was the most inactive day since march 2nd 2010.

Are most people still into finals? I am not sure exactly when the average people end school and know some finished school recently.

I hope this is just temporary. Despite activity still being a lil higher than before March in general (and higher than other forums for the most part), half of our active members joined this community in 2010 and did not know Omnimaga as a less active place. We used to have 800-1400 posts a month and most members at the time were used to it and felt the board was somewhat active for a TI forum. However, the new members are used to 5000+ a month. From experience in the TI community, when a forum gets less activity (especially projects) for an extended period of time, regulars starts checking the board for new posts less times per day, then eventually check every few days or even once a week, then only reply to threads with replies in the last two or three days, afraid they might be seen as necroposting. In short term I am not too worried, because the site is still very active, especially project-wise, but since Summer Time is already much less active than the rest of the year, if our activity dropped a lot before Summer, then it is very hard to get all old members back when school restarts. Do you think an extended decline in activity could discourage some of the newer members?

Are the people who have been less active still interested as much toward calcs but just too busy? Or is there a decline in interest (due to delayed Ndless release or the like)?

I also wonder if it could be due to the recent increase in 500 Internal Server Errors? When posting, if you get that error, you can click "Back", copy your post, refresh the page then paste it, then try again and again until it works, but not everyone knows that, so they might be scared of posting because they migth lose their post.

Is it because the IRC post notifier bot (SpyBot45) is no longer working since over a month?

Is it because of the recent lack of features on ticalc.org?

Just something I,ve been wondering, because every week I hear people saying "YAY! Finished school!", yet those people barely show any sign of life for the weeks afterward.

Same as Builderboy. We have finals, trebuchets, and presentations. I'm also out of project ideas :(

Yeah, school is still in session for a lot of folks. I know a guy who doesn't get out until like the end of June. Also, for the people who declared school's out and then disappeared, it's probably for one of two reasons:
1) They immediately went off on vacation.
2) They're relaxing and de-stressing from the hectic chaos that is always Finals Week

Furthermore, I really don't see any correlation between activity on omnimaga and features on ticalc. Could you elaborate?

After finishing all the AP tests, I found myself faced with the finals, presentations, and other works given by the teachers...
Also, my friend burrowed my calculator because he lost his (and he's one of my best friend, so I couldn't refuse. I do math with TI 89). So atm, there's no progress...

Spoiler For funny life mathematics:
1. ROMANCE MATHEMATICS
Smart man + smart woman = romance
Smart man + dumb woman = affair
Dumb man + smart woman = marriage
Dumb man + dumb woman = pregnancy
2. OFFICE ARITHMETIC
Smart boss + smart employee = profit
Smart boss + dumb employee = production
Dumb boss + smart employee = promotion
Dumb boss + dumb employee = overtime
3. SHOPPING MATH
A man will pay $2 for a $1 item he needs.
A woman will pay $1 for a $2 item that she doesn't need.
4. GENERAL EQUATIONS & STATISTICS
A woman worries about the future until she gets a husband.
A man never worries about the future until he gets a wife.
A successful man is one who makes more money than his wife can spend.
A successful woman is one who can find such a man.
5. HAPPINESS
To be happy with a man, you must understand him a lot and love him a little.
To be happy with a woman, you must love her a lot and not try to understand her at all.
6. LONGEVITY
Married men live longer than single men do, but married men are a lot more willing to die.
7. PROPENSITY TO CHANGE
A woman marries a man expecting he will change, but he doesn't.
A man marries a woman expecting that she won't change, and she does.
8. DISCUSSION TECHNIQUE
A woman has the last word in any argument.
Anything a man says after that is the beginning of a new argument.

Girls = Time * Money (Girls are a combination of time and money)
Time = Money (Time is money)
Girls = Money squared (So, girls are money squared)
Money = sqrt(Evil) (Money is also the root of all evil)
Girls = sqrt(Evil) squared (So, girls are the root of all evil squared)
Girls = Evil (Thus, girls are evil)
*Girls=Evil credit goes to Compynerd255*

I'm still in school and will be for the next 3ish weeks.  The teachers are working us pretty hard.  I think it's exams and the end of school for most people. :)

The last time ticalc.org started being uptight about what deserves a feature and what doesn't, people started thinking no more good programs were coming out and it somehow affected activitity on every forum.

I wouldn't worry to much Omni, we're still going very strong. Also, that activity spike was pretty massive, so I don't think people will expect activity to always stay that high. :D

Mhmm, wouldn't it be the other way around Madskillz? Summer goes from June 21st to September 21st, meaning you would normally be less active when June starts. Maybe they should rename your Summer class to Spring class :P

@Ztrumpet, personally I dont really get excited when one day in particular we get like 250 posts then the other days under 100. Sometimes it's just a coincidence causing everyone to come online that day. I look more at the average of the week personally. That said activity is still rather high compared to some years. I hope projects continue progressing though, since this is what people come here for most of the time.
