Happy leap year!!!!! Today only comes once every 4 years.
So kick back, have a bowl of ice cream, and program it up!
(although I think we should get school off today :P)

Leap years happen every 4 years except every 100 years which is also except every 400 years o.O (so 2000 was a leap year, but 2100, 2200, 2300 won't be) D:

Why do leap year every 4 years?

Because actually a year should have 365 days, 5 hours, 48 minutes, and 46 seconds every year because that is the time the earth takes to turn around the sun. So instead of that every 4 year's February has one day more(29 days instead of 28).

Hopefully leap year doesn't mean anything bad for Omnimaga. Every leap year something real bad or maybe good happened O.O
Feb 29th 2004: First forums opened one week later. They only had 60 posts in 6 months, though. On the other hand this marked Omnimaga beginnings as a site.
Feb 29th 2008: Omni closed completely one week later. (prior that, the main board was shut down on New Year). It didn't recover fully until late 2009.
Feb 29th 2012: Activity decreased like crazy over the last few months except Oct/Nov, but on the other hand, the old board finally got restored this year and merged a few days before Feb 29th.
???
That said I wonder what happens when someone's birthday is on Feb 29th? Does he get celebrated on March 1st on regular years?
