Title: Hobbies?
Post by: ClrDraw on September 06, 2014, 09:06:30 pm
So, what kind of hobbies (besides calcs  ;) ) do you all have? I'm into photography.

Coding random useless stuff, playing guitar, roleplaying, hanging out with friends, other random stuff, yeah, I have many hobbies for a short attention span.

-Music making (see here (http://djomnimaga.bandcamp.com/))
-Old school video games
-Starcraft II
-Listening to music and going to concerts
-Going to hockey/baseball games (although less now that I go more to concerts since I can't afford both at once)
-Hanging out with friends (I don't have that many, though, and public transit sometimes makes it a nightmare)

I like to use recycled materials to build toys, see that topic I made (http://www.omnimaga.org/general-discussion/hayleia%27s-crafting/) about some of my creations. It's been a while I haven't done anything like that though.

That Buzz Lightyear is pretty cool! How did you get the joints to move?

Basically, you link two independant parts with a string or something, and then they can't go away one from the other but they still can move. You can use scoubidou strings (don't know if that's an English word) for example, it's solid, flexible and still stiff when not moved.

It depends, sometimes we have the occasional anime/MLP fans who never touched a calc in their lives and Cemetech has the Minecraft-only members.

That's what I meant by some. For example, I don't do too much calc things.
