Post by: Juju on June 15, 2014, 11:59:46 pm

jk, not that much. I guess you missed me? I've been in a cottage, watching ponies with a bunch of friends, it was pretty awesome.

Yeah at first I was wondering where you were going but then I saw stuff about ponies so I guessed it was another cottage thing or some convention in Ottawa. :P

Anyway glad you had fun and nice to see you back. :D

What they said. :D
By "watching ponies", do you mean you watched the four seasons + Equestria girls entirely ? O.O

That could work, it takes about 30 hours to watch all episodes + equestria girls, add some sleeping and travel time with that and you get about 60 hours of unonlinity.

I don't think we watched every episode, maybe we did, but at least we watched a selection of all the best episodes, Equestria Girls, a few fan animations such as Ponies The Anthology and Friendship is Witchcraft and it concluded with the Season 4 finale and a test screening of Project Thundercloud II with its author. A few scenes are still missing but it's mostly done. Oh, and scary games.

Just your usual Slenderman gaming night... but then... there was a twist...

Yeah, we played some Slenderman, then we played Slenderman in real life in an actual forest. The 8 pages, the guy dressed up in a white morph suit and tuxedo, everything was there.

I remember trying to play Dungeon Dragons IRL once, with very basic disguises, but it wasn't in a forest and it was pretty much just someone telling a story and asked us what action do we take in certain situations. I was totally wasted, though, so I only followed half of the story and kept saying stupid stuff :P

Well that's pretty much D&D, a bunch of people around a table with someone telling a story.

There's actually a version of D&D called LARP (or GN in French) where you get disguised like your character and physically act them out. I know some people who does that and it's pretty much why they sell knight costumes and foam swords besides D&D stuff at D&D stores like L'Imaginaire.

Yeah the D&D I knew more was the GN one. Someone at work does it every May but last year they stopped early due to terrible weather.
