i kind of had to post this because lua is one of my favorite languages

But I don't like the fact that many think Lua is a toy language, because it's not. Certain core concepts are much better than other languages, and make it more advanced. I have yet to see a language that has arrays/lists as powerful as Lua tables (if you know how to use the power, that is).

that is very true, it isnt realy a toy language, it is just eisier to learn than the other ones

lol, that is where i first heard about it, then i found this article and found out it is written in lua

Lots of people think of lua how they think of python that it is just for scripting and can't really do much. Both though have a much greater pwoer then most people give them credit for in their own area of expertise. Lua is tables and python imo is just ease of code(I don't remember what the real thing is supposed to be).
