ti.com isn't big enough to see at all when the map is zoomed out... Guess calculators aren't that big a part of Internet :/

It says it's a snapshot of the web as of late 2011. I wonder where he gets all this data from (it seems incredibly accurate and complete), and if he plans to update it in the future.

We probably got a boost from the nDOOM stuff in 2011. It's possible we wouldn't be on there either otherwise.

The data has to be collected before the app is published. (Imagine taking a picture of everything in your room. The camera you're using to take the pictures isn't going to be in there, and neither are the pictures you take :P Unless you're skilled in some form of dark magic.)

EDIT: wordpress.com out in the middle of nowhere lol

They didn't have to find anything, it was already invented here (http://constellations.labs.exalead.com/?q=omnimaga&l=all&type=Web). I just wonder why the site I gave the link is so ugly, it used to be beautiful like in the spoiler but they changed it like that for no reason ???

Nope, this is a search enfine, it only shows what you are looking for and show how websites are linked to each other. But when I said they didn't invent anything, it was about the space-looking design, not about the function :)

Well Cemetech.net domain name exists since 2006 and it's not showing up either. I guess the project is still not 100% reliable.

1. The colour allocation. How is this determined?
2. The location of each website.

Name too long and dot too small heh Couldn't find any though. Which site were you looking at?

EDIT: Kinda sad how t.co is much closer to facebook.com than to twitter.com. People link to FB on Twitter too much :P

Are you searching for the top-level domain name? You can search for "omnimaga.org" but not "www.omnimaga.org" or "omnimaga."
