ticalc.org is next to ti.com, and ti.com is huge!ti.com isn't big enough to see at all when the map is zoomed out... Guess calculators aren't that big a part of Internet :/
At first I was expecting some sort of 90000x90000 pixels large image or more. I am surprised this could include that many sites. I'm betting plenty are still missing, though, since they are not indexed by search engines. It says it's a snapshot of the web as of late 2011. I wonder where he gets all this data from (it seems incredibly accurate and complete), and if he plans to update it in the future.
EDIT: Cemetech.net not found ???We probably got a boost from the nDOOM stuff in 2011. It's possible we wouldn't be on there either otherwise.
Fail, that website doesn't locate itself :PThe data has to be collected before the app is published. (Imagine taking a picture of everything in your room. The camera you're using to take the pictures isn't going to be in there, and neither are the pictures you take :P Unless you're skilled in some form of dark magic.)
Might be why we're next to 1up.EDIT: Cemetech.net not found ???We probably got a boost from the nDOOM stuff in 2011. It's possible we wouldn't be on there either otherwise.
I love the way that he arranged the map into a star-like system. :DThey didn't have to find anything, it was already invented here (http://constellations.labs.exalead.com/?q=omnimaga&l=all&type=Web). I just wonder why the site I gave the link is so ugly, it used to be beautiful like in the spoiler but they changed it like that for no reason ???
Nice Find!
Doesn't show the whole Internet though :DI love the way that he arranged the map into a star-like system. :DThey didn't have to find anything, it was already invented here (http://constellations.labs.exalead.com/?q=omnimaga&l=all&type=Web).

Nope, this is a search enfine, it only shows what you are looking for and show how websites are linked to each other. But when I said they didn't invent anything, it was about the space-looking design, not about the function :)Doesn't show the whole Internet though :DI love the way that he arranged the map into a star-like system. :DThey didn't have to find anything, it was already invented here (http://constellations.labs.exalead.com/?q=omnimaga&l=all&type=Web).

nuuuuu tiplanet.org isn't there :PWell Cemetech.net domain name exists since 2006 and it's not showing up either. I guess the project is still not 100% reliable.
Edit : "The map of the Internet is a photo shot of the global network as of end of 2011"
Well that explains :D
lol yeah, some of the websites are so small, even when you are zoomed all the way in, you still can't see the name :PName too long and dot too small heh Couldn't find any though. Which site were you looking at?
EDIT2: We're really close to bieberphotos.com O.O
I can seem to get it to work. x.xAre you searching for the top-level domain name? You can search for "omnimaga.org" but not "www.omnimaga.org" or "omnimaga."
*Edit* Ok, it kind of works. When I zoom in I can find sites manually. When I type a url in the search box and hit "find" it fails though. :S
The blue part on the bottom is all porn XDEven porn sites are bigger than Omnimaga!! O.o
