How do we get in contact with someone close to DJ Omnimaga (family-wise, perhaps) to let them know that he may be trying to hurt himself real soon? Even local law enforcement might be in order here.

I think he's here, between 1430?1460 Avenue De Guyenne, Quebec:

I think our best bet right now is to try to contact his local police right now, and then try to get him online. If he's active online, the worst hasn't come yet.

I'm not sure but yesterday morning when I tried to get on I found this message:
"Board has been shut down until a new admin is found. Admin must:
-Be fluent in english
-Not alerady own another TI website
-Be active in the community."
I PMed him about it at UTI and didn't get a response.  I tried getting on her later in the day and the message didn't shwo up, but I didn't find anything on the forums here explaining what might have happened.

[edit] I was looking through the http://omnimaga.org/index.php?showtopic=72 page here and it says that Steve Ouellet was on the programming team from '02-'03.  I can't find him in the member list.  If anybody knows how to reach him, or if you can find his username somewhere we might be able to email him.  The last name is the same so I'm thinking maybe Kevin's brother.

I was talking to him in PM earlier about a problem with the site, and he mentioned something about not coming back. (though he didn't elaborate on why)

Is he going through some personal issues at the moment? I'm afraid I don't know him personally.

Well, I hope he's okay and the situation is just being exaggerated, or something. Maybe he's just dealing with a stressful situation right now and needs some time off.

I don't think the situation is exaggerated.  Lately he's been very easy to upset, and he's been talking about leaving the community and he's been getting more and more serious about it.  This has been going on for a while.

I do hope he'll be back.
He's just emotional and takes things very serious, maybe a bit too serious :(sad.gif
I'll try to be online as much as possible to snatch up any sign of him, anywhere. I'm really worried about him. :(sad.gif

He seemed fairly calm the last time I heard from him. (just earlier today -- a few hours ago)

I want to say "don't jump to conclusions," but I don't know anything about the situation. Apparently, Weregoose does? It might be kind of weird to have the police show up at his door if nothing were seriously wrong.

Like Spellshaper said, some people are more sensitive about things than others. I know I tend to go on a whole "verging personal Nihilism" trip any time something tends to go wrong, and it gives other people the wrong impression about how serious it is. Could this be similarly exaggerated?

@grendal: I hope So

But the Police Showing up at your door is not A bad thing. I have had it happen before. Of course it was cause the were looking for a thief that had run away from them and headed our way.
THte worst that can happen from the police showing up Is a Aquward situation And if the situiation is a serius as Weregoose Makes it out to be they could save His life.

Short and sweet. :)

i would say that the safest thing would be to contact the family, that way no police will show up or anything. but then i remember his family had been part of the problem, he and his mother had not been getting along, im not sure how that would go down if thats the main problem here as well. I assume that since no situacional updates have occured that no one contacted anyone (aside from whats posted) assuming thats the case, why would weregoose post the contact information instead of contacting the authorities himself. I would very muc like to hear from weregoose again to see whats up. I dont like to underestimate a situacion, but i just doesnt seem right. None (very few) of us here have any clue what is going on, why would the information be posted for us? again, weregoose i would like to hear whats up.

@LOTG, none of us know the situation excepting weregoose and maybe grendale, but mainly weregoose as he is the one that innitiated this topic. imagine if 5 people here @ omnimaga called the police, i think it would go down alot harder than an awkward moment. plus, it wil not be an awkward moment, they arent gona go "you okay?" then leave, assuming he is a danger to himself, his parents will be notified and an officer will probably be forced to stay with him.
