Title: Let's hack some votes
Post by: AngelFish on October 15, 2011, 06:50:18 pm
My school has gotten the idea that an ideas competition would do something beneficial for the school and I'm required to participate in it. Unfortunately, several of the most popular ideas not only don't work, but would violate the laws of physics. Let's get some artificial vote inflation going and support my [made-up] project.

Spoiler For Disclaimer:
I'm not sure there's any reward for winning, but on the off chance there is and I win, then the money would be donated to the next legitimate project or to charity. Also, I'm not responsible for any legal implications or bodily injury/maiming that may occur as a result of voting.

Supported. Also, you have to make an account, which was easy, but you still do.

Heh, that's what happens with required submissions, everyone would submit troll science.

Precisely why it's a made up project :P

In any case, an environmental company has already done a demo of the technology and they ended up being fined about 15 million dollars for the ecological damage.

Unfortunately, several of the most popular ideas not only don't work, but would violate the laws of physics.

What do they do?  Make perpetual motion machines?

Unfortunately, yes.
