So in my infinite boredness, I had the brillant idea to start a webcomic. This one works much like MS Paint Adventures (http://mspaintadventures.com), in which you submit the author commands (>This character: Do this), so it results in a collective RPGish story. I'll make pretty much all the frames in MikuMikuDance (MMD), a software made for making Vocaloid videoclips and will feature tons of characters, including Hatsune Miku. (Well, maybe not tons, but at least more than one.)
First panel is pretty simple, you just meet Hatsune Miku. You can use this thread to command her what to do. (I might expect her to explore her surroundings.)

>Miku: Dance slowly and poetically. Maybe add some fancy spins or some shit!
-
>Miku: wave leeks around

Update!

>miku: explore for non-black background ;)

>Miku: Investigate those white lines. They are probably string is my guess. If they are, play with them like a cat!

Français! http://mmdadventures.julosoft.net/?l=fr-ca
Now I'll figure out something interesting from those commands.

It's getting interesting...

(yay 3000th post \o/)

>Miku: OH MY GOSH THIS REQUIRES IMMEDIATE INVESTIGATION! GOGOGOGOGOGO! SEE WHAT IT IS!

>Miku: Jump off the grid into the void below.

Hmm interesting. Also for odd reasons the spinning miku thing has lower quality when you select high quality than when selecting low ???

Yeah, possible. I used ffmpeg to convert more than 100 MB avis to less than 500 KB swfs.
Also, note that the comic is on hold while my computer gets repaired... It broke for no reason while I was watching TV. Speak of a good moment to break while I'm going through my last week of school. (Which ends in March because of training session.)

Don't you have an alternate computer to work on it? Or is it because you don't have the PC version of Flash?
-
I only have crap computers or computers with only Linux on it, I'll check what I can do. MMD only runs on Windows.
-
Ah ok, I was sure you had a rather decent computer besides your iMac x.x
And by MMD do you mean Macromedia Director? Because that also ran on Mac (although your mac is the computer that is broken)
-
I meant MikuMikuDance, the 3D software I use to draw all the panels.
Edit: According to http://mikumikudance.wikia.com/wiki/MMD:System_Requirements running it on VirtualBox won't work and on Wine (the Windows emulator) it'll probably fail due to not enough DirectX support.

1 year, 1 day bump.
Just a question, is this coming back or is it dead? I know you said it was on hold wile your computer got repaired, but that was a year ago :P

Yeah well, I did repaired my computer, but been too lazy to install Windows on it yet... Maybe someday. Should try MMD in a VirtualBox to see if it works. If so, it shall come back.
Lol having 3 computers in my room and none of them runs Windows.
