I had this idea since a while as well, I would totally love a mobile version. But we can't find any suitable one...

They're on the main page.

i-Mode (http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?imode) | WAP (http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?wap) | WAP2 (http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?wap2)

But we would like a iPhone/Android version, if possible.

I contemplated making an alternate light theme that would work well on mobile at one point. Maybe this Summer. Of course it would require me to get more free time and approval from admins, though.

It would probably be similar to the default theme, but the navigation buttons might be smaller in width, the banner setup to resize on low resolutions and no image would be used in the CSS

Tbh I would be surprised if there isn't a pre-made mobile theme, it would just take a bit of color tweaking if desired.

*runs quick search*

There's one specifically for iPhone on there.
/me wonders if it would be possible/easy to adapt themes for older versions of smf..

Edit: just found this (http://smf-media.com/smf4mobile/) but it's not free.  idk

looks nice indeed..

i would go with the curve mobile version, looks the most simple and universal imo

It depends how much is involved. In some cases, maybe only some minor CSS changes might be required. The problem arises when we can't fit everything in. Note also that it's not guaranteed that I work on such theme, although I might do a low bandwidth theme regardless.
