Ok, so those who have been around for about 2 years probably remember that United-TI did skype conferences before (two, if I remember).
Well, we just actually had two (or maybe three, as there seemed to be stuff going on yesterday afternoon too), one friday night and one last night and it was quite cool. We discovered that Netham45 is Mahmoud Amhajinedad, president of Iran, and the reason why he was busy lately was because he was starting to prepare nukes for 2012. Err... I mean, yeah it was cool. Since it was kinda experimental at first, this is why we only planned them in staff forum and at last minute with some IRC people for now. However, in the future we will probably announce them in news or this board section, so other people can join. Keep in mind unlike UTI conferences, ours are kinda invite-only, though. Only active Omnimaga users or #omnimaga active users would be able to join and the IRC bans would apply to the skype group.

In other news, there's actually a whole colony of lobsters.
They do not come in a variety of colors, only shades of blue. (well, except one green one)
They'll out-number humans in 50 years.
And zerg rushes over a mic sound like bong hits.

We kind of talk about whatever we talk about. The first time we had a few topics, but the second one we didn't really have any.

THe first time we talked about the site, then about the blue platform (that got uploaded as demo, btw), then I think more calcs in general.
The second conference was slower, though, as only like two or three person could use mic since it was late and near the end I was playing a Starcraft game so I could not see the text chat. In the second one Eeems was actually making a bunch of small userbars

Well are we planning one for tonight? And if so what time? I need to know so I can get on the computer and install portableskype in enough time to get in on the conference

Just got a new headset. Like... 2 minutes ago.

(hoping everyone's parents won't go overkill on sleeping schedules again tonight... Geekboy had to go to bed at like 9 PM one night and Eeems at 8 PM I think once x.x)

i am and am but i might not be able to talk im back at my moms where i go to bed when i get there so yeah maby a mic maby not ut still around XD i can definetly use headphones though so i will still be able to listen and use text at the worst case senario for me :)
and it was 10 ish for me dj last night cause my dad was tires from all of the turkey he ate :P

Now that most people finished exams and are in vacation, I was curious when we could start doing some conferences again?

Yea, I'd really like to.
Unfortunatly I have parents that will not let me use skype, so I'd have to use it when they can't find out about it. That's hard. About the only time I could do it is within the next hour, when no one else is on... :(
If someone could let me know when one will be, I'll try to get on...

well I'm good for it :) I might even be able to use my dads mic/headphones that he got with his iPhone so I don't have to be limited by them watching tv...so when should we plan for one?

well it will depend of when people can get online. I know for sure this place will be nearly empty on Christmas time, and I myself work on the 23th evening, so it might have to be on the 26th. If anyone can do it this evening I don't mind, though, even if just one person gets on (as long as he actually talks, lol)

I am on now btw. Also it doesn't necessarly HAVE to be a "conference". Sometimes only me and Eeems talked anyway, as long as at least someone talk :P.

I have this weekend free (providing my schedule won't change x.x) so I might be avaliable.
I guess I finally scared everyone away D:
But again, maybe we could try to restart it for now :P, idk. The issue is really that when I finish working that late I need to eat something so I won't be on until maybe 11:30 PM and now I had a forum error to fix x.x
