I bet in French it's about half of that, because of all the annoying accents. About 7 years ago I bet my WPM would be around 15, though (I typed faster on my calc).

Still not used to the curved TI-84 Plus layout, but from your post it sounds like the TI-84 Plus CSE is even harder. What's different about the keypad?

As for the CSE the problem is because the processor (15 MHz) is not fast enough for a 320x240 screen that contains 16 bits per pixels and if combined with questionable OS programming, when entering text at the bottom of the screen you get about 3 frames per second, so many keypresses get missed. When typing at the bottom it's far less bad, though, so it could be a bug.
