Title: Radical Pi's Journey Through the Paranormal
Post by: Radical Pi on December 31, 2006, 02:14:00 pm
This year I'm going to research various paranormal things, but not from a skeptic's point of view; from a student's. That's right, I'm going to try teaching myself telepathy and every other thing I think I can teach myself. Sure it's a big waste of time, but that's why I have to be open to the ideas. It's obvious there are plenty of paranormal happenings everywhere. But for some reason under most controlled lab tests it doesn't work as good. Why? Because skeptics and doubters energy interferes with it. I heard it called 'skeptic vibes' at one place, and thats a perfect phrase for it. Human belief plays a large role in letting this happen. And math says so. Ever hear of the uncertainty principle? Human observation has a direct result on what happens in the subatomic world. So, I think therefore I am. I think it, therefore it is.
Anyone is welcome to help. If you know about a good website on how to become psychic or anything, please share!

First up, I'm interested in telekinesis. It's already been proven to work I think (but they still don't know how). But what is everyone else interested in? I'll take on your challenges, if they aren't too crazy. :Dbiggrin.gif

btw, 'getting abducted by greys' isn't a psychic power that can be developed. I hope...

well i dunno about telekinesy, but on TV over here there is a TV program where they talk about ghosts and haunted house and it seems that they exists, even though they rarely show themselve in public. According to the people who saw them they only appear when there is one or two people in a room, else they are probably scared or something.

The program is in french though

Most ghosts are just http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thoughtform I think.

So, telekinesis it is then! First, I need a teacher or something...

I was about to post that that was unlikely and absurd, but then I realized: keep an open mind. My beliefs on these issues are sure to be challenged. Anyway, I found my first lesson on telekinesis at http://www.psipog.net/show.php?id=2
I'll officially start that tomorrow.

I tested my die, and found that 6 has horrible odds. I'll try to go for 3, that was the only 16/100.

And OMG, I just went back to that site to see how their test ended up, and it followed the same basic pattern with me: 6 pathetically low, 4 and 5 pathetically high, and the rest trying to balance out but failing at that.

I'll be back with the results soon
Title: Radical Pi's Journey Through the Paranormal
Post by: Radical Pi on January 01, 2007, 06:44:00 am
My results are completely O_Oshocked2.gif-inducing.

Test 1: no force
1: 15, 2: 14, 3: 16, 4: 23, 5: 22, 6: 10

Test 2: Trying for 3
1: 15, 2: 14, 3: 18, 4: 15, 5: 17, 6: 21

Conclusion:
WTF. yeah, that's my conlusion. ^^
Three went up one place in the rankings, as I hoped, but 6 absolutely killed it. Sure, you can say that the odds say that can happen, but out of 200 roles!

Opinions on this?

OMG...
I checked out that site and did the dice test and the Card Test #1.

Dice (no force): 1: 19; 2: 17; 3: 18; 4: 11; 5: 13; 6: 21
Dice (force on 2): 1: 20; 2: 21; 3: 21; 4: 13; 5: 14; 6: 11

And on card test number 1, I actually picked out all 51 cards...

Your six is wigging too...

I did the card test before (but had no standard playing cards so had to use a siblings tcg set >_>)
I did the opposite, and drew the target three times in a row, with IMMENSE shuffling.
And at one point I accidentally saw the card at the bottom. I thought with my luck, I would draw it next. And I did. O_Oshocked2.gif

Hmm, I'm not as interested in telekinesis, but I've looked into black magic a bit. It would be pretty sweet to be a black mage throwin' fireballs and s*** you know? Unfortunately all I could find was stuff that was obviously total bs or stuff that looked like I might end up blowing my face off if I tried it. :/confused.gif Maybe I should stick with guns and bows. o.oblink.gif I'll have to find a mage for my party eventually though... Never know when you'll run into one of those bosses that can only be killed with magic! I'll bet one of my chemistry teachers could help me learn a bit of explodinating goodness though! :Dbiggrin.gif

Oh btw, sorry to burst ur bubble but so far all the telekinesis stuff I've seen anywhere was bs. :/confused.gif

You may be right spengo, but that TK guide at that site has the following little bit:
QUOTE
If you do a search on the Internet, there are a lot of message boards and sites dedicated to "psychic" stuff. Why would there be such a huge thing about it if it was all fake? Can people really be that dumb (heh, don't answer that :)smile.gif)?

And I realized that a while before seeing this site.
Who would go through all the trouble of faking tens of thousands of posts on hundreds of different forums, if it was all a joke? Yeah, I probably would, but... :Dbiggrin.gif

The trick is finding the Telekinesis articles with the forums attached. Just a lone page on freewebs about MindPowah probably wouldn't do much to me, but when there are people responding in the thousands about their success, you know it must be something.

I have seen some absolute b-s parapsycho noobs *coughWINGMAKERS.CO.NZcough* so I know what ur sayin.

Well, if you can figure out how to blow s*** up with your mind be sure to tell me. =D that would be uber!

@xlibman, hey bows are teh r0xx0r. After the fall of mankind when the necromancers take over with their undead hordes, ammo for guns will be scarce. That's why the best weapon would be a nice bow with reusable ammunition. Swords is too close for comfort. Zombies are scary. o.oblink.gif Gonna use my christmas money + some of the money I'll make working the rest of this christmas vacation to buy me a nice new compound bow. ph33r t3h zombie pwnage.

Btw, chemisty teachers don't seem to want to tell me much about their crazy black magics. :(sad.gif So far I only know a couple good spells, the most interesting of which is a water magic: big chunk of sodium + throw into water = booooom XDsmiley.gif

Maybe I should try again.... :)smile.gif

@spengo: swords rock. you need no ammo at all, mabe a shield for the other arm, but that's all. ph34r the slice n' dice action! :knight:knight3.gif
But stay away from broadswords. Too unwieldy. I prefer katana + jitte/lightweight shield.
In a pinch, even a staff does wonders.

I sincerely apologize if all caps aren't allowed, but I need to post it and don't want to just join the psipog for this.

I MADE THE FREAKIN' WHEEL MOVE ZoMG!!!!!!11111111111!
Not much, just small enough to prove that it wasn't a freak gust of wind that somehow got through my cupped hands focusing on it. ^^

I'm going to develop this more, but now I'll also start Telepathy. I already tried pounding xlibman with mental "RADICAL PI SAYS DON'T KILL YOURSELF!"s. Hopefully he didn't mistake it for those psycho voices in your head when you're insane...
I'm not going to research 'pathy, I'm going to try making my own technique for it (and I already had some success with it, the first time I tried).

@spelli: Try it again! All it takes is positive belief that you can do it (and hours of daily meditation, concentration exercises, etc... (but I'm not doing those and am still getting results.))

And before I forget, I also did the card thing. I got all 51 out. :Dbiggrin.gif

Dude, try swording a zombie. They can almost kill you in one hit! Definitely don't want to get too close to those guys. The Zombie Survival Guide recommends a Shaolin spade. Gotta get me one of those. :oohmy.gif Swords are pretty sweet and they have their uses, (muahaha) but I prefer range between me and zombies.

@radical_pi: gj with the wheel, when are you gonna be able to blow stuff up? =)
Title: Radical Pi's Journey Through the Paranormal
Post by: Radical Pi on January 03, 2007, 11:56:00 pm
@speng: probably not for months, but I'll take Pyrokinesis as my next skill after telepathy. Also, psi-swords (which are possible) could probably kill zombies. As long as you have the psi-armor and the psi-ZombieDetector (or telepathy).

So, I'm getting better at the wheel. I still can't control which direction it goes, but I don't have any transparent beverage glasses that fit over it to make sure it isn't wind. I really don't think wind could make it do some of the things it was doing, but I have to keep an open mind...

According to some of this, I could just warp myself to the future in an OBE and see if the projects are ever done.
But I had a better idea for an OBE. I'm going to test the psychic-ness of Sylvia Browne (the famous psychic). If she sees me, OMG we better prepare for the aliens landing this year that she predicted. If not, she's a hoax...

But if I finish that, I'll still give one of you a message. So if any of you dream that you spoke to Radical Pi, post about it and I'll tell you if it was me or not.

My dream log is coming along nice. Last night I was able to remember one dream: I was telling someone else about a lucid dream I had, which I now conveniently forgot the details of. >.<

I know all about that JREF Million Dollar Challenge. So does every other 'real' psychic.
If you just go through there logs of applicants you would notice how they make them look stupid. I know of a case where the conversations were edited to make JREF look better, and even fake emails were added in.
And if the applicants don't suddenly stop replying, they usually find a way to stop the preliminary testing from happening. I read one about a guy who could summon UFOs and was going to do it January last year in LA, until in late December when he brought up the fact that there may have to be armed guards at the park and JREF took the opportunity to disqualify him without looking back.
Sure, some of those applicants are fake as hell, but the ones that aren't get ripped off. This is not an unbiased organization trying to advance science. It is a cult of noobish skeptics that would explain anyone passing the test as a guy who got lucky with quantum randomness, or a cheater.
Also, the prize money is worthless bonds.
[end rant]

But I would enter to prove THEM fakes; I would just need a perfect testing procedure. I think spinning the wheel thing inside a vacuum would do it. No wind interference. :Dbiggrin.gif

I really want to learn a way to throw fireballs 'cause that would be awesome. I don't think I mentioned the String here yet...
@ school, first period, the front of the room, hanging from the pull-down map is the string to pull it down. Hard to describe, unless you just know what I'm talking about, and I think most of you will.
Well, the whole time I've been using that string as practice TK. Making it move back and forth, yeah. The way it would sway if there was a wind (which there isn't)
Today, I did it again. BUT this time, I went off thinking about Star Wars and thought "Hey, why don't I try asking the string's Midi-chlorians (the Force makers) to move it for me?" And guess what happened next...
The absolute bottom of the string went spastic back and forth, while the rest of the string was stationary. Picture your hand frozen and shivering faster than your eye can see it with your arm fine.
And I just sat there staring. Best birthday present I could ever get :Dbiggrin.gif

And yes, I was able to make it happen again, and so was the guy in front of me (the pseudoskeptic, not like the other one that said this was the work of convection currents...)

Post by: Halifax on January 17, 2007, 02:46:00 pm
Radical_Pi feel free to correct me

but to answer you question graywolf from what I understand you do not need to see the person you can use a phone or something like that so you could communicate all over the world but the person no matter what you want to communicate with has to be open to telepathy and able o recieve messages.

EDIT: I don't know if this is TK or not but one day I had just gotten away from an argument that I had just had with my dad and I went to my room very frustrated and went to turn on the light and when it turned on the light blew out and broke. This scared the s*** out of me and I was like wow how did that happen. It definetly wasn't just an ordinary light blowing out.

Distance is only a perception of space, and perceptions are usually wrong (I know talking about politics and religion isn't very acceptable, but that's whay I mean ;)wink.gif)
You don't need to see them, you just need to know they are 'there'. Not there as in like there in whatever latitude/longitude, just there like existing. You could telepathically contact me with only the name Radical Pi if you wanted. That actually sounds like a good idea; anyone up for contacting me?

Yesterday's 'official' practice consisted of only three rounds. First two , gotten right. The target (anonymous) claims to have heard a voice say it in his head (and I didn't think to ask if it was my voice or not :Ptongue.gif)
When the CIA looked into telepathy I think its safe to assume they didn't get it all right at first either.

So do I, from memorizing some of the simple thought patterns RPS uses ;)wink.gif
I've been successful enough at TK for it to not be the wind, so the majority of my efforts are currently invested in lucid dreaming and astral projection.

why not practice TK more? if you spent enough time to learn to do it and prove to yourself it works why not try to get good at it and make it useful? moving a key on a string doesnt really mean too much at all to most people. actually picking up an object without touching it might be more useful. or are you just trying to prove this stuff to yourself?
