If this is real, I am really curious about how they could make a movie script out of Tetris? Would the movie look like this? :P

I couldn't really fathom a Tetris movie unless it were based on something biographical, like people competing to set the high score. Kind of like what they did with Billy Mitchell.

Yeah that's the movie I am talking about. The issue about The Wizard is that it took me until 2011 or so until I finally realize what it really is, even though I watched it in the early 90's. The French title is "The Awesome Kid" so when I tried to search Google about the movie this I would type similar queries in vain and I even thought the movie was exclusively available in French because the English title was completely different. Kinda like the Naked Gun series which is called "The Agent Does the Prank" in French. >.<
Nonetheless the movie was kinda fun but it might have been because it involved playing video games. :P

Nope, I never heard of that one. Another thing I noticed that they change completely in English are Asterix movies. For example, Asterix and the Big Fight is actually Asterix and the Menhir Hit and Asterix versus Caesar is actually Asterix and the Caesar Surprise/Gift.
I wouldn't be surprised if in French Tetris was translated to Mega Blocks or something even weirder :P

Indeed. I was already shocked when I saw the 2006 fake trailers by fans but I never realized a big company would ever make this movie for real :P

Well, at least an Omni movie would be more feasible than a Tetris or Pac Man one. :P It would be easy to find a theme since it could be about the ups and downs of Omni like a documentary movie or it could be some sort of medieval/fantasy adventure movie featuring Omni staff reincarnated as mages and knights or a kingdom named after the site :P (in which case, the 2007 portion of the movie would pretty much re-use The Reign of Legends 4 scenario)

I think for Omnimaga the ROL4 scenario would fit better. After all, that game story was kinda some sort of analogy about the TI community way back in 2007 when it was worked on, just in fantasy form. One character in the game was actually my old nickname (xlibman) spelled backwards and missing 1 letter. The game also had 6 kingdoms named after each big TI website at the time (but of course with modified names such as Omnitia instead of Omnimaga)
For Tetris, Russia would definitively be the best place for such movie to happen. :P
