I will personally be gone from Saturday (June 26) to probably half-way through next week. I may be able to post for the first few days, but almost certainly not after that :(

Actually, with luck I'll be able to take my laptop with me, and, since I have all the documentation I need on it, I can probably work on it anyway, even w/o internet. :)

On a side note, unless things went wrong, I will most likely be around through all the Summer, altough maybe a bit busy for the first two weeks of July, so I may not be online at the same times.

I'm afraid I'm not going to enter in the Axe contest, since I will be devoting time to my OS, not to mention I was never much of a contest person (I've never entered in one, actually, but, again, I'm not going to enter this time.) Sorry about that. :( Maybe a later contest, my OS having been worked to a good state.

Regarding the community I also hope most people currently around are planning to stay around for quite a while. It sucked the years when half of the people would leave after 3 or 4 months x.x

I am not too sure yet, but from Wednesday July 14th to Saturday July 17th, I may be inactive on the forums and IRC. I am not going to a trip anywhere but I've been really exhausted lately with work, so the small break from admin position (which was supposed to end on July 1st) is not enough anymore it seems. Some people may have noticed I'm getting quite irritated again too, lately.
If you noticed, my post rate dropped a lot lately, now it might be a few days without activity from my part, unless I change my mind. That said, it could simply be a break from other sites, though. But yeah if I dissapear for a few days (which is unusual) don't worry.

I offered to drop a note of absence for Iambian. He's currently working on a new job, and doesn't have very much free time on his hands. This might go on for a few weeks; so he won't be very active (if at all) on any projects.

I just found out that I will be going on a short trip on the August 14-15 weekend (I think). Once again, I am not sure if I will have internet access (last time I had to use a weird cable that was broken to get it in the hotel), hopefully, the hotel will have free wifi. Nevertheless, I may disappear for these two days.

DJ, Yes I was on vacation a few weeks ago, but I was lucky to have free internet access so I was able to get on the forums every night. Hopefully I will have internet access this time so I can check out the forums also.

You will see a sharp drop in my activity due to opera rehearsals taking almost all day, and planning stuff for homeschooling next year. (those laws are really thight in our country :( )

The 24th seems to be the pivotable point of return for many people, but funnily enough I won't be here that day. my brother's coming home from texas. Once school starts, around sept. 1 here, I'll be on much more often (many comp classes) :D

Hopefully activity will pick up again soon (unless everyone is too busy with school). Lately some projects have been getting a lot less feedback, which can be a bit discouraging for their authors when it lasts for a long while x.x.
On a side note, I'll probably do another staff addition run soon, like I normally do at the end of each Summer. I'M not sure if I feel like working on a tribute video again, though x.x. It's a whole lot of work.

What would we have to put in the tribute video, anyway? You already did Axe, and I'm not sure about more large projects besides S.A.D. (not that it's bad, :P but there needs to be more than one project)
Speaking of school, I start in ten days, though I'll try to stay active. Might be a bit difficult, though x.x

Normally, I showcase most staff projects and sometimes older stuff. However, given how large this community grew in the past 6 months, I would probably also showcase some non-staff projects as well. MY concern, though, is that only like 10% of projects get finished, so one year later, we look at the video and most stuff we see are dead projects :/
I might just do a shorter video that is a bit like some sort of ad

I haven't been as active recently because runescape is having a bonus xp weekend coming up on Labor day weekend(Sept 3-6). I have been busy gathering supplies and focusing on this recently. Also, my interest tends to wane from time to time. :) Just figured I'd mention it.

Also I noticed around Feb, you usually vanish from the TI community until June, or rarely visit anymore. I hope you don't eventually lose interest for good :O

Nah, I don't play all the time. I can't see myself getting addicted to a MMORPG, no matter how much I enjoy them. As for leaving permanently; I'm sure it will happen eventually, I just don't know when that will be.

Not really a vacation but if on October 2nd weather is not terrible and that I work on October 3rd, I may not be very active during that weekend. On the 2nd, I'm going at a hockey game during evening, but during afternoon there is another event going on in Quebec city and I may be going there and I'm not planning to go back home between that and the game. I'm probably gonna be tired the next day x.x
Just letting you know because due to my generally high activity it may feel as a surprise if I suddently vanish for a few days :P

Those comments are precisely why that October 2nd afternoon event is happening. People are tired of the NHL commish ruining the league keeping teams in cities where almost nobody cares and want to show him (and governments) that they would happily take one of them. Maybe there are some people exception in Phoenix, Atlanta, Florida, Long Island and Tampa Bay, but teams cannot survive with 4000-5000 people every game that gets their tickets for dirt cheap (despite the league showing fake attendance numbers in the 15000s). Same thing happens with baseball over here. (except independent leagues)

Hello, Omnimaga. My parents have decided that my activity on here has begun to negatively affect my grades. On their command, I will not be accessing Omnimaga during the next week, except for maybe a few posts on my phone (which I'm on now). My activity following this will probably be sporadic until my parents see straight A's. I fully intend to return completely as soon as possible, but until then, have fun!

About them blocking me: I doubt they could. My dad might make a feeble attempt, but I use Google Chrome, which none of my family has ever used, and I know the passwords to the admin account, so they really can't stop me electronically. They have to do it physically.

Well, I managed to get back just in time for a retreat! So, Monday I probably won't be on, absolutely not on Tuesday, and not until the afternoon on Wednesday. At least this time it's not a punishment.

It's not your fault. It was largely the integration that burned me out and the half dozen problems I had to overcome with it (including routing the files halfway around the world and back so I could access them). It would have been impossible for two people to do that process together.
