Title: Wanting to start a gaming website
Post by: The_King on January 21, 2014, 09:34:04 pm
for a while i have been thinking of making a gaming website, where a collection of good games all over the web and especially from omnimaga are put together. I already set up my free domain but need help from people who would be kind enough to help me progress on the project.

I will have a ad service, that I will send around 50% of the earnings to omnimaga if it is successful :P , so the money spent by the domain owners can be used for other purposes. (it is has a higher possibility since more people are into online gaming than calculator programming, though no offense to the programmers)

So what do u guys think

Admins: if u think i am breaking any rule by posting this feel free to take it off

It would be an idea, although keep in mind there are many competing gaming sites, especially computer-wise. A forum early on might not be a good idea.

What do you need help with?  I think it's a good idea but I find ads annoying when they are on every pixel of the web site.  Just keep that in mind when placing ads.  I might be able to help here and there but I can't do it full time as school and sports have taken up a lot of my time recently.

so finally i have one 2 games on the website ( :( since i want to make at least 100 online before releasing it to the public)

btw the link is Addict Gaming (http://www.addictgaming.weebly.com)

anyone interested in helping me making the website can pm with their email(very important), html, css history etc ( just so i know who knows how much ;) )
note that since that i have the free website right now, anyone who applies for this position, which i am keeping till 10 for now including me(note: i will have multiple accounts for myself, for webmaster and adsense reasons but only one will be considered) and cking1 will provide everyone admin powers :)

also i have webmaster links for miniclip, armor games, and newsground
if u have any other web masters do tell me :P

there is also a game request form in there so if u want a particular game :D

on the side note i should modify my signature as it is getting too long :(

Oh ok. Sadly I can't help since I don't do flash. Maybe there's some doc with SMF Arcade, though.
