If aliens knew how to use the internet and how to upload video's to youtube they probably already know how to communicate with us. They won't have to resort to using these strange video's.

By the way the Eiffel tower is not the only link this channel has to France. In the Channels tab, JoueurDuGrenier (Attic Gamer) is listed, he's a popular retro gaming youtuber over here.

If aliens knew how to use the internet and how to upload video's to youtube they probably already know how to communicate with us. They won't have to resort to using these strange video's.
But maybe they're doing it this way so that only the humans smart enough to figure it out will be able to initiate communication, i.e. try and weed out some of the idiots initially.

Considering how popular this channel became, I wouldn't be surprised if they started monetizing these videos. As for the $1.99 video, I wouldn't be surprised if people actually bought it just for the sake of it.
