thanks for the resize.  However, I'm having problems uploading it.  I'm too pinned down to this thread, waiting for people to read my edits on that post, and I don't think I can humanly leave the thread until people look at my edits.

Uprated your original post (the one where you corrected your mistake), but you don't have to make a big deal of the post rating system ;) Taking it too seriously might be what people are rating you down for, anyway.

Also, you're having problems uploading it as your avatar? You can use the text box in "I have my own pic:" to stick in the URL of either of the scaled-down images we gave you.

Imma gonna make a big deal about the system ;) especially because this just proves my point of another form of respect abuse -- post rating bandwagon.

EDIT: Thinking in advance, I posted the new avatar anyways because I know that people are sure to rate me back up to where I was.  I'm sure of it.  If not, then I'm desolate about how abusive the rating system is.

EDIT: and, can I get a bigger resize?  about 50% bigger than this one?  This post proves that it can be 50% bigger and not stretch anything out ;)

Not necessarily a bandwagon. You can't just say "Oh, 1 person can rate this down, but no more." If someone thinks a post is offensive, they should rate it down disregarding what other people did. Same with rating things up. So if you get a -3 on a post, that means three individual people saw your post, didn't like it, and rated it down.

But that's a good point, too: We shouldn't rate people up or down solely because someone else already did it. That would defeat the whole purpose of a rating system. Rate a post based on its quality, not because you notice someone else rated it.

yes, okay maybe 3 people did find it offensive.  But I'm sure they wouldn't have thought that way unless it already had a -1.  Bandwagon.

EDIT: plus I took DJ's advice and wanted to make him happier by not deleting the post after I had a -1 on it.  And guess what I got?  This.  Obviously The rating system needs improvements, not the post deletion system.

Thanks, I must've posted the one I'm allowed to use on cemetech, which is a bit too small :P

though, I find it offensive that most of the people who rated me down are just going on a silence strike.

last edit for the next week for me: well, obviously people can't just take a hint when I ask them politely over and over to just rate me up and I'll cool down and not make the same really insignificantly small mistake again.  Thanks for getting me in a bad mood.  I'll take DJ's advice and leave the site for a few days to cool off.  Thanks, guys.

Maybe they're just offline.

Ashbad, I was the first one to downrate your post. I didn't do it really for the big font, more for that link that you posted.
This is the first time I check it since then, and it appears that more people downrated your post. But I saw that you edited your post and took the link away so I uprated it back. As for that other downrated post, I don't know who did that so I think the one who did that should uprate it back, and not me.

I only downrated that one post, which I uprated now. Please don't be upset, because I'm only now back online since I did that. I was just offline the whole time so I didn't see that you edited your post.

I tend to take the rating system extremely lightly.
Of course I don't Uprate/downrate every single post.  But I do it if I have stronger than normal feelings about the content.
Such as Swear words.  They can be very amusing, but if over used or used out of anger, I find it very displeasing.

Edit:  My avatar is currently Butterfree (spelling?)

A very pixelized buttefree indeed :)

I guess the rating system of Omnimaga is not to be used like Yotube's (I rate every video).

Nice. I wish I could pixel-art decently.

Spoiler For Projects:

My projects haven't been worked on in a while, so they're all on hiatus for the time being. I do hope to eventually return to them in some form or another...

Spoiler For Pokemon TI:
Axe port of Pokemon Red/Blue to the 83+/84+ family. On hold.

Spoiler For Nostalgia:
My big personal project, an original RPG about dimensional travel and a few heroes tasked with saving the world.
Coding-wise, on hold, but I am re-working the story.

Spoiler For Finale's Super Insane Tunnel Pack of Doom:
I will be combining Blur and Collision Course into a single gamepack. On hold.

Spoiler For Nostalgia Origins: Sky's Story:
Prequel to Nostalgia. On hold, especially while the story is re-worked.
