Also I think DJ was known as various usernames before being DJ Omnimaga, such as Kevin or xlibman.

Note that on certain large calc forums I used Kevin9999 as nickname sometimes, around 2003-2005.
For a short period of time around late 2006 I think, Netham45 became Headcrab on Omnimaga, but then switched back to Netham45.

I thought we were talking about Omni nick ???
Well, if it's not, my former nick choice is nyj3100.
-
let's see...
eggplant.plus.three-->eggplantwalrus-->rosmaruswalrus-->turiqwalrus
on omni, i've only used turiqwalrus, though...
EDIT: notice a pattern?
-
Silver Shadow was ZagorBNK, not ZagorBX.
and I doubt ephan would care if you put his past two usernames, since he posted about the change anyway.
-

Yes Dad.
I've only ever used Eeems in anything but games. When I was younger I used random names in games, but Eeems has been my only real handle on the internet.
-
I've only used ActiveTi ever on Ti-freakware. I was kinda young there, and didn't really release anything.
-
Ok thanks... sounds very confidential...
It was mainly real life issues that it caused.
@Eeems don't you use Eeems13LOL on some sites though?

Don't you also use Sonniku and Nepeta as alt nicks on IRC? I think I remember you using them a lot last Summer. Also I won't call you dad because it would feel weird considering you're 5 years younger than me. <_<
-
Yeah, I use Sonikku, Nepeta, Konata and Juju-kun as alt nicks on IRC.
-
I only used Eeems13 or Eeems13Lol on messaging protocols that wouldn't let me use Eeems or Eeems_
I don't really count them since they aren't forums/social sites :p
-
Some don't let use Eeems?? O.O
-

Yep, some have a character limit, and even Eeems_ is still under the limit.

/me hi5s!
My nickname used to be ScoutDavid by the way ;)
-
The first username I used was spongyfan7. I loved spongebob :P
-
Well, if it's not, my former nick choice is nyj3100.
Methinks yours changed again :D
-
on a civilization forums i was civeditor 11 and i sometimes use ruler/ruler5 on irc
-

Yay! :)
On some sites I was PitchBlak13. When I finally hooked my XBox up to LIVE one of the suggestions for my gamertag was Black Pillar, and I like intentionally misspelling my username (most of the time), so BlakPilar was born. Since then I've used it for almost everything. I've never changed it on here, though, and I don't plan to.
-
That reminds me, when I changed from Kevin to xlibman in October 2005, some people made a huge thing about it and complained about it. I just felt it was confusing to be Kevin on the Internet considering how many people have that name and at the time I felt my nick should reflect my identity more.
As of today, on forums I go more and more by DJ_O, but I still use the DJ Omnimaga nickname for my music. Sometimes on IRC I just use DJ, though.
However, I've been debatting getting a new name for my metal album, although that might cause its popularity to be lower since most people know my music under the DJ Omnimaga nick since years. The issue though is that for any kind of metal music, it's weird to have "DJ" or anything related to disc jockey as part of the artist name. I thought about Knights of the Moon or something like that. I'll have to see, though. Maybe if I sell that album and it gets popular, I might attempt a nickname change for my metal music then when I decide to release more dance/rave stuff, I could advertise my alt artist name to promote it too.
-
Changing usernames always confuse me. :P
In some places, I'm known as ralphdnak.

I think "Omnimaga" is good. It sounds really cool.
-
Well just Omnimaga alone might confuse people, because it's already used for this site name. Maybe Knight of Omnimaga.

Knights of the Moon would be nice for a band name (even if you're only one or something), Omnimaga would fit as well for a solo name.
-
I used to be known as Qwerty.55, then I become Qwerty.55.
-
now yeongJIN_COOL is my former username.
-
Well On omnom, when you write in a topic it says yeongJIN_COOL did it...
-
even though I change a nick in omni, it doesn't change in OmnomIRC for some reason.
For that, in OmnonIRC, Juju is still Juju2143.

Ah, interesting...

also, the log-in ID doesn't change either.

In a previous post somewhere, I think in the topic of your brother who wanted to change his name too, Juju said that there were different options. Including one that your login changed too.
-
ah. I never knew that.
all I know is that mine didn't change XD
-
Omnimaga has two different usernames. One is your "actual" username that shows up in posts. The other is your login name, which I don't believe is typically changed and happens to be what some of the custom software reads.
