We're also the home of Disneyland if anyone has been there before.

Hey, USU isn't known for its farming (anymore) degrees. It's an engineering college now, top 3% in the nation.
Dis on farming all you want :P I'm going into comp. Engineering.
Does an irrigation canal count as a river? I used to swim in it....

Illinois, US.

Corn everywhere.
+1 for truthfulness, but I imagine I'm farther north than you (Chicago area)
BTW, I saw Illinois's biggest hill the other day- it was about 15 feet high :P
-
I loled at a story my teach told me about michigan (She moved there, then back :P) where they had built a mall with a big underground area.
They piled all the dirt up and called it a mountain. It was only about 500 feet high. She was highly cynical about the situation. The way she responded was probably the best part.
I'm surrounded by mountains a few thousand feet at the shortest, and even the flattest areas have a general slope (I live in a valley :D)
-
Yeah, its pretty flat in Michigan (at least where I used to live). Now I live in Washington, somewhat close to a lake, so everything is uphill from my house :(
-
But at least you live by a decent body of water! I live in a desert!
We actually (may blow your mind, but not buttfredskins :P) have rights to the amount of water we can use from the irrigation systems (not paid water, it's charged by the amount), and it's illegal to catch water in rainbarrels.

EDIT: I went up that hill :P

Ohio: land of boringness and iV. Also known for excessive nut-production(food and people). :P
-
Don't hog OH iVenom! It is also the land of flyingfisch and Spyro. And I don't think OH is boring. However, I live in NE OH, so I might be too far away from you to know how boring it really is.
-

I know! Everything seems uphill here, I must be going crazy or something...
except the slopes, which by the way to all you snowboarders: skiing is better than snowboarding. :P

You just got a +1 from me for that snowboarding comment. And do you ski at snowbird? My dad skied there once on a buissness trip instead of playing golf. I have skied since I was 2 and so has my dad.
-
There are mountains well over 2000 feet all within a few (5-20) miles of my house, in all directions. :D No flatness for me! But no rolling hills either. Mountains and valleys. The foothills have slopes, but other than that and the general contour of the land, it's flat where you want it to be.

Wow. Lots of Ohio people here. I live near the state capital. I think I gave a much more specific location on the member map. Any ohioans coming to the capital any time soon?
