Mine was on the axe forum:
Is 0.5.3 better than 1.0.5 or something?
-
this: http://ourl.ca/7058/118134
lol, I got indeed banned.
-
it says you are a guest O.O
-
read the next post. that was a mistake from DJ
-
Permabanned users are usually deleted.
And my first post was me introducing myself :D

My first post was... on the old forums. No idea what it was. :P
-
Believe it or not, but mine was actually about weighing in on a discussion about the drama that occurred on United TI: http://ourl.ca/3688/68881
-
My first Omnimaga post ever (and possibly Iambian's first too): http://www.yaronet.com/posts.php?s=36295
-
I prefer not to put mine up
-
lol. But you couldn't really help.
-
@Annoyingorange aeTIos's initial acct deletion was because he signed up immediately after the contest survey started and he had the same IP as LordConiupiter, so we thought Lord signed up again to vote on his own entry twice. Finally it was just his friend and then we decided to restrict survey voting to people above 20 posts, in case.
@Ztrumpet yeah I remember that. During the last few months prior their first downtime I remember some UTI members like Eeems and Geekboy1011 would migrate here one after another, then things kinda worsened. I'm kinda glad this stopped, although with the downtimes afterward this definitively did not help them, as you can see now.
-
help what?
-
nice one DJ XD
Mine was adding to a bug report on a sprite editor...

Yeah I know that still. I was like "wtf, what happened to mah forum account" and tried >9000 times to login (w/o success)
After that, I registered at exactly 6:00 (gmt+1) so that was funny.
-
I sounded so noobish in my first post. It was about 83 sound prgms.
-
Mine was in introduce yourself :)
http://ourl.ca/9363/178071 (http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?action=arcade;game=15)

Hi I just joined. The site looks impressive!
Can someone email me the Nspire OS v 1.7? My email is [email protected]
Thx.
My first post XD
Just wondering, we should state how many posts we have in total, it actually shows it in "Show last posts of this member"
I have 714 total (not including spam though).

But your postcount says 558. Have you posted so much in Introduce yourself maybe?
-
Introduce yourself, Humor and Jokes, etc :)
I just go to the last post in "Show last posts of this member" and look at the number for their first post and that's how many they have total w/o spam unless you have over 1000 posts since it doesn't seem to show up.

Well, then I have 1152 posts. :)
-
I cannot tell what is my exact post count including spam and non-counting sections, because:
1) About 500-1000 posts are located in the staff/admin/moderation sub-forums, which I no longer have access to
2) About 11000 of my non-spam posts and possibly over 2000 spam ones are located on the old board database on Invisionfree, which is gone
3) A dozen are located on the even older yAronet Omnimaga database
Otherwise, if I only count this board and posts outside the staff sections, I have 33473 total.

34987 including the staff posts. Your first one on this board was about who will be staff. Note that only 2 of the original staff (Netham45 and calc84maniac) are still staff.
Note that the manager usergroup is not coming back, since it was hardly used anymore on the old board
Lol.
-
Ah ok. Thank you lol. Also to clarify, Netham45 was demoted for a while for inactivity. The only staff that remained staff during the entire duration of this board is calc84maniac.
As for the manager group, back in the old board days, managers were kinda like Anti-riot squad, but had every power the current CoT members have. CoT members used to have limited powers, such as only editing posts, locking topics, moving topics, etc, although they had full powers in their sub-forums. The people with admin powers were just called admin (or founder in my case).
The old manager/ars group was eliminated when the old board was deleted, though, and a temporary board was made, so the only people with full powers were admins. However since the anon raids of Feb 2008, all CoT were granted mod powers again.

my first post was in axe parser: http://ourl.ca/12917/241717 (http://ourl.ca/12917/241717)
lol I sounded like an idiot XD
-
yea, mine was also in the introduce section.
-
Mine was a question in the Ndless thread
-
My first post on the omnimaga forums besides introduce yourself (http://ourl.ca/6924/114494) (a very nooby post "worshipping DJ_O as a god") was this post in concepts and basic information "wow i love rts games!!!" (http://ourl.ca/4601/114495)
Wow how nooby i sound. I got banned soon after of course for my "noobyness" (well not really but my incompentence).
As for general forums I'm not sure but casiocalc.org was one of the first forums i remember visiting, tho i didn't post until later.
-
Edit: What a fail. Literally 4 months after I post last in Epic7's topic on what was your first Omnimaga post, I create my own topic. I guess the most fail thing is posting in the old topic! Good to see things have been merged now. :)
Hi everyone,
Thought it'd be interesting to find out what everyone's first post was.
Here's the link: http://ourl.ca/6924/114494
And the post here:
Hi, i am honored for you joining my website at jhgenius01.webs.com, and the number of your posts on omnimaga is phenominal!!! over 13000!!! anyway about me...
I first arrived on the calculator scene in 2008 when i received my cousin's CASIO CFX-9850GB+. I soon wanted some games but there was no link cable. In the end i found many games on UCF and CasioKingdom and managed to type them in (opened the .cat file in word and then printed it out for me to type) I even typed out the whole Star Wars game (at least 18000 bytes) by Sean Tan but i changed it to save memory! I also took a basic game, Indy2000 and changed into a cool featured pack game with highscores and stuff. Anyway, this year my new school required a TI-nspire and so i moved into the TI-nspire programming scene. I soon realised that the programming capability of the nspire was much lacking than the 9850, I couldn't make games such as pacman. Oh well, I finally made a game on 15 August 2010, Jason's TI-nspire's Hold 'em available for download on ticalc.org. Upcoming games include Battle of 16s and Cosmic Legions, both strategy games.
Wow I sounded so noobish.
Now I wonder about everyone else!
-
Hi I just joined. The site looks impressive! ;D

Surprising. I forgot I joined due to Ndless (The first one, that is) XD
EDIT: http://ourl.ca/7017/116655 (http://ourl.ca/7017/116655)

I think mine was more about the whole greatness of DJ_O inspiring me at the time and he joining my website (tho he deleted his account after).
And you've got the 240000th message HOMER-16!

Wow. I didn't even realize the number of messages were that close! :D

Test
EDIT: Had to post to bring the older topic up into the merge list. Merged now.
-
Actually there is already a topic about this here: http://ourl.ca/14043
You even posted in it, Jonius7! O.O (EDIT: Qwerty.55 merged it just now)
Anyway my first post on Omnimaga was http://www.yaronet.com/posts.php?s=36295
If we exclude our yAronet board, then it was http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?topic=-2597.msg-54124#msg-54124
-
My first post was where I, until recently, hid the uploaded file for the PortalX closed demo
*Builderboy hides*
-
Shoot! I knew I did not look properly left and right before creating this topic :P
And that this topic might already exist lol.
EDIT: Even more fail was that I was the last poster of the old topic before the merge! AAAARRRRGGGHHH what a fail!
-
I just looked at how many posts I have total now, since when I last posted in this thread and looked, spam was not counted, now I have 1459 total posts including spam O_o
Almost half my posts don't count, lol :D
-
http://ourl.ca/3302/70956
I was trying to tell calc84 that TI-Boy should totally work on newer 84+'s. In hindsight, I was right :D
-
I remember when we all thought that this would never happen. X.x If I remember he had to use plenty of weird hacks to make it happen, though, because of the RAM the emulator itself requires, besides emulating the GB one.
-
Mine was also the introduction post which I can't seem to find right now D:
-
For my first post, I congratulated the new staff members
http://ourl.ca/12167/229495 (http://ourl.ca/12167/229495)
It was simple, and to the point. :P

I'm pretty sure this is mine:

My first post came nearly exactly a year after I registered: http://omniurl.tk/2094/37306/
I'm pretty sure this is mine:
That is indeed your oldest post :) You can always check by going into your profile, clicking Show Posts, and going to the last page (which in my case is page 557 O.O).
-
Me thinks this is me first post:

-
Wow a very nice "I need a ..." sprites post list!
Very systematic and odd for a first post :P
-
Sorry for necroposting and being off-topic, but before Calc84maniac worked on Project M, F-Zero 83+, TI-Boy SE, gbc4nspire and gpSP-Nspire, there was this!
http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?topic=-264.0
And fewer grammers http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?topic=-529.msg-13372#msg-13372
O.O
I should find Netham45's early Detached Solutions and Cemetech posts... jk
-
what if somebody posted their first post in here ?
