I don't know with what kind of weapons WW3 will be fought but in WW4 we will be fighting each other with sticks and stones.

No. I don't think WW3 will happen. It does seem likely that there'll be a conflict in ukraine, though.

Some conflicts could elvolve into WW3 if certain countries get involved in the wrong location, and most would involve Russa vs USA IMHO.

1: Ukraine: If USA gets involved physically then attack Russia nears the Ukraine border or Russian soldiers, I wonder if Russia could retaliate by attacking USA directly for being involved?
2: Syrian conflict: Russia, Iran and China were against the UNO sending troops to Syria to support rebels and take down the government IIRC. If any member of the UNO sent troops anyway, I wonder if those countries could send troops to help the Syrian government army and allies? In such case, this could possibly escalate into a conflict between nations involved
3: North Korea: If US, South Korea or Japan ever attacked North Korea or vice-versa, the opponent would most likely retaliate and if it's USA that attacks first, I am unsure if NK's allies (Russia and China IIRC, although China seemed to distance themselves from North Korea lately) would like either, unless NK became a serious threat for other countries.
4: If Russia gets kicked out of UNO: Could they retaliate against UNO members that banned them?

Personally, I think that only the Ukraine situation could elvolve into a widescale conflict, where Ukraine supporters and Russian supporters strikes each others for getting involved in their affairs, but I don't think it would be as bad as WW2 unless some idiot starts using nukes. If North Korea dares throwing 1 nuke at one of their enemy (or close to their land) then North Korea is screwed (do they even have planes at all?).

If anything, I think that either Cold War has started again or that it never actually ended in 1991. Also I'm not a fan of war, although in some extreme cases (especially if a big nation invades there is no other choice. >.<

I'm rather divided whether a World War would happen or not. I think at least a second Cold War could happen, depending how the different countries react.

In Crimea, it's just your average independence war but with a little touch on it. Technically, they declared independence from Ukraine (which is likely a thing Ukraine don't want) and immediately after they asked to join Russia (which is likely a thing Ukraine want even less). So this makes a territory disputed between Ukraine and Russia, which would easily be a sufficient reason to start a war. This is not really an actual invasion as Crimea actually wanted to be in Russia. Not likely to be a World War, but will happily take part of it if there will be one.

Right now, North Korea is just your immature little kid who threatens everyone with his nuclear weapons, boasts he's the best country ever and have a hard time to be taken seriously. The USA can take it seriously, just in case... If North Korea ever does the slightest damage with nuclear, then yes it can easily skid into a World War III where North Korea will happily be the Germany of the previous World War. Or at least, a Cold War in the same way USA and Russia had one.

The Syrian conflict: pretty sure it's just your average Middle-Eastern civil war. Other countries will obviously get involved, but it's pretty much to offer their help to either side. Not likely to be a World War. The Iraqi and Afghan wars were also thought to be world wars, but it never happened, so I don't think the Syrian war will be either.

Also a mention to USA vs. Russia and the American information crisis: with Edward Snowden been given the political asylum in Russia, this will tense the relations between both countries. If the Americans commits a major diplomatic error, Russia sure will be among the firsts to be involved.

Right now it's just a bunch of little wars pretty much everywhere. If a third World War is to be declared, it will likely be a nuclear war and I'm pretty sure nobody wants that. World War II began using nuclear weapons, but that was towards the end of the war, it didn't had time to get worse by the time the war ended and everyone agreed it would never happen again...

I don’t agree with you here as russia took over crimea before the referendum was done. There is a high chance that russia messed the votes…

So my prediction is that it will happen, sadly, if history is anything to go by. The policy that we are using in Ukraine right now is the same as the policy the league of nations used before the start of WWII: Appeasement. AKA doing nothing due to the threat that doing anything will lead to war. If Russia takes over another country, then Russia is like Germany before/during WWII: conquesting.

Long story short: History will repeat itself.
I am Bach.

I think it will probably happen at some point, and small conflicts like Ukraine can easily blow up into total war.

The first stages of World War II seemed very benign. Hitler moves some troops to the Western edge of Germany, breaking the Versailles Treaty, but many people were convinced that the Versailles Treaty was unfair, and it was. Germany had not stepped out of her boundaries at all. Germany also started building an air force. Again, this was not really an aggressive move, but simply a sign that Germany wanted to be a world power again. Germany then peacefully forms and alliance with Austria, Hungary and Czechoslovakia, with very high support of the alliance by the natives of those countries. Even the invasion of Poland was not that big of an offensive on the world scale. It was the results of that invasion, and the reactions of the countries involved that caused a world war.

Another interesting note is that right up to December 7, 1941, most Americans thought America would never be involved in European affairs again. The same type of sentiment always seems to precede any war.

Now, it may seem impossible that a conflict in the Ukraine can cause World War, but as history shows, small offensives can cause big wars.

I won't get into this discussion except to say that the quote is from Einstein, who was involved in the project to develop A bombs.
Keep trying.

I have a pretty good feeling that if North Korea tries to be Germany and invade everyone with nuclear threats they would be shut down by most of Western Europe and the US. It might piss off some countries, but with their history of human rights violations, I don't think they would be able to be complain too much.
