What is your favorite song on radio.omnimaga.org (http://radio.omnimaga.org)?
Pick one for DJ_Omnimaga, AND pick one for Nitacku!
-
If by Omni you mean myself, note that I'm DJ Omnimaga, not Omnimaga. :P
As for Nitacku my favorite is Journey.
-
Two failures on my part:
Calling you Omnimaga, not DJ_Omnimaga,
and putting this in the wrong place on the forum. Whoops.
Favorite Songs:
DJ_Omnimaga- Everest(Extended Mix)
Nitacku- Absolute
-
Glad you like that song. It was actually the first time I don't use a MTV-Music-Generator-related program to make a song. However it suffered from that :( (repetitiveness and took 15 more hours than usual to be created).
Something I wonder is if anyone likes one of my metal songs as their favorite.
-
Well I think the songs from TotKotM are among your best songs, in my favorites.
-
JuJu:
Hey! You didn't post actual song names!
DJ_Omnimaga:
Which ones are metal?
-
All the songs available on this page: http://djomnimaga.bandcamp.com/album/tales-of-the-knight-of-the-moon
Along with one of the rickroll cover and the Sonic 3 Ice Cap theme.
-
Everest is a big hit... At least to bindernews, who sometimes falls asleep to it at night.
-
My favorite?
Battle Against Fate, of course. :P
-
Hmmm for me it would have to be
Dj= Land of Hopelessness
Nitacku= Absolute
And my favorite ThunderMagnet song would be that one you showed me at my house!!! (during an intense game of monopoly, I might add....I lost the GAME)
-
I wish Juju could implement stats in Omniplayer so we know which songs were listened to the most.

Probably, La Porte Du Soleil ranks high in my list. Though not 100% sure, Land of Hopelessness is a really good one too, The Game that we Lost also.
As for nitacku, I've been sorely ignorant of everyone's music except for DJ_O's (it was a torrent that introduced me to DJ_O's music), but that may change. Sorry.
@Thundermagnet, visit this thread, it has a spreadsheet of all the details about all of DJ_O's songs. http://ourl.ca/13482
-
It's tough to pick my favorites, since they're all fantastic songs, but it would probably be:
For DJ's songs, I would have to pick The Game That we Lost as my favorite of his power metal songs, and Trancing Through the 8-bit Land, for his trance songs.
For Nitacku, I'm stuck between CTL+ALT+DEL and Omnimaga, though Journey and Absolute are good too. Oh, and Quantum Shift, as well.
-
Jonius you should check out the Nitacku remix of Grooving to the Melody :D
-
Ah Actually I think I did hear part of this song on radio.omnimaga.org
-
I think I've changed/'consolidated' my mind a bit. La Porte du Soleil I think is my favourite out of all the DJ_O's songs due to its great melody and dynamicism, with Quest for the Legendary Axe coming in close behind.
-
That's actually what I have in mind as well. :D
I also like the Destiny Knight album stuffs.
Good for workout-music XD
-
I basically have the DJ_O collection on my MP3 and am listening to them every now and then. Great music when you just need to listen to music and relax. Well besides the few old Omnidance ones in lesser quality.
-

How do you workout (assuming you mean gym) to Super Ultimate Mega Doom? :P
-
wow, didn't realize the radio was back ! O.o
-
I guess it has been back for a while. And I realised I did listen to some of nitacku's songs on the radio there.
-
Yeah it was only down due to the 57o9 downtime.
-
I'm a bit reluctant to listen to DJ_O's song with the title: "Shut the h**l up motherf****ing son of b**ch" O.O
-
I'm not even sure if this can be considered a song.
-
It is, more than 1000 BPM to rule them all at least. The title has quite the profanity in it, though. :P It's actually a gabba song.
-
Oh yeah it is. I think I confused it with 1000 BPM to rule them all.
-
Shut the h**l up motherf****ing son of b**ch is actually a nice melodic song.
I agree with 1000BPM to Rule them all, being not melodic much.
The most relaxing song ever is good for the first half.
Scream and Nightmare in the Rave I don't particularly like
Chrono Breaks is kinda weird in how it slows down and speeds up.
The Chemist, meh rising and getting quicker.
However Apocalypse is quite nice.
-
Some of the older tape recordings (still from the original Omnidance tapes) are a bit harder to listen to. about 40% of the time I skip them to listen to newer songs.
-
Maybe this topic should be renamed Favourite Song on Omniplayer to avoid confusion with the Shiny New Omniplayer Topic.(which actually talks about the omniplayer, not the songs on it)
-
Note that The Most Relaxing Song Ever was meant as a scary pop up prank on Youtube, but it generated such a following, especially among TIMGUL users, that it was finally made available for download too
-
Yeah, but it is still included in your 109 original songs.
Also, I assume most of your songs were made in MTVMG for PSOne?
There are a few exceptions that I have managed to track down.
-
Oh :|
EDIT: Maybe I am bumping the topic but also the below:
The topic title is confusing me here. It is about our favourite songs on Omnimaga Radio, not just Omniplayer2.
I just listened to It's the End of Time and was surprised that I could hardly recognise it at all. After going through the list of songs (shuffle) with lots of songs I must have not associated the particular music with the song name.
-
Did you reply to someone's post which he deleted afterward or are you just bumping the topic? ???
However yeah most of my songs are made in MTVMG1. The following are the ones that aren't (although the Magix/Sony stuff utilizes ripped effects/sample mixes from MTVMG1)
Magix Music Maker 14
-Everest
-Everest (Extended Mix)
-Shut The Hell Up Motherfucking Son Of Bitch (A.K.A STHUMSOB or STHUMFSOB on some sites)
Sony ACID Pro 7.0
-Euro Blast From The Past
MTV Music Generator 2
-Ice
-Trancimaga (Short Version)
-Trancimaga
-Pulse Groove
-Journey Through The Moon Dark Side 2008
-Trancimaga 2012
Music 2002 Club Edition
-Trancing Through The 8-Bit Land
MTV Music Generator 3
-Grooving To The Melody (Acid Dream Remix)
-Free As In Core
-The Good Old Days
-Dark Eurodance
Music 3000/Digital Hitz Factory
-Techno Strike 3000
-Unknown Truth From The Forbidden Land
All of those songs except for Trancimaga 2012 and Dark Eurodance are from 2008.
-
Did you reply to someone's post which he deleted afterward or are you just bumping the topic? ???
I hope I wasn't just bumping the topic yeah. Sorry if it seemed like that.
Anyway good list there, some of which I had already gathered from your TIMGUL posts :D
-
Wow, I haven't been on for a long time... :'(
How possible is it to get a song of your own onto the player?
-
You'll want to ask me.
-
speaking of which, are my songs in there now?
-
Lol. As TM said, my favorite DJ_O song is probably Everest(Extended Mix) or Euro Blast from the Past.
Nitaku favorite is Absolute.
And Juju, if I PM'd you some Dropbox links to some of my songs might you add them?
-
Sure. :)
-
PM sent
-
Yeah I think any Omni member song can be added on the player if the authors request them or if they're in the downloads section, and for the downloads section if you have a certain post count the staff generally does not mind letting them in (although files in the Omni archives must be less than 1.9 MB or hosted externally).
By the way juju did you add The Last Hurrah of Omnidance, Trance of Time and Grooving to the Melody Happy Hardcore Remix?
Also Yeong it probably depends of the format. I think only MP3s are accepted in Omniplayer
