I normally hate Lady Gaga stuff, but the following song is an exception. The style is different from all her other stuff.
I would like it better without any vocals I think, though. ALso the official video is friggin weird x.x
Anyway I like the song. I think it might have to do with the melody.

I've always thought of it as Italian. It's just a guess, though. :)

Nope, mine is Italian :P Im 75% Italian, and Marcolina is from my fathers side, who are 100% Italian ^^

I think there's some grind in there, due to the epically low pitch of the singer, but not sure.

Grind as in a music genre? I only really know of death metal, black metal,etc. I heard several metal/rock genres use such vocals, though.

Some friend of mine used to listen of music with extremely low pitched voices, it's weird, sometimes I was like, wow there are lyrics?

Ah wait I remember hearing about that now. I personally wasn't a big fan of that music, same for death metal, since it usually lacked good pitch progression.
