Title: Yanni - Classical Music Composer
Post by: Munchor on August 02, 2011, 05:22:02 am: Even though I already know that some of you like Yanni and know him, I decided to share a couple of songs by Yanni, that I just think are phenomenal.

Note: Both of these songs are from his concert "Yanni live at the acropolis", he made other albums, so feel free to check more on him (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yanni).

Related to the topic, I myself like classical music, and so will try to listen to some of his performances at some point.

Post by: DJ Omnimaga on August 02, 2011, 03:02:21 pm: Well personally last night when ephan showed me the first video, I didn't even realize it was classical, because all classical music I listened to was different, like Bethooven and such stuff.

EDIT: Actually the 2nd song sounds closer to the classical stuff I listened to. I'm more a fan of the first song, although I like the 2nd one too. Pretty melodic.

Just from those two songs, I already like his style immensely. Highly romantic-style in composition, but with modern-sounding addtions on top of that. Very, very good. I might need to pick up a CD of his as well ;)
