Monitors still works in Hz frequency? ??? I thought that didn't exist since LCDs?
-
yep, for vertical and horizontal refresh rates. Usually you'll see a 60Hz one, but I'm looking for better
-
Oh ok, but what does 120 Hz offers that 60 Hz doesn't? Is it for 3D gaming or something?

it explains the advantages

TL;DW.
Any video shorter than 1 minute summing it up?
-
basically, in gaming you can't see any performance increase once it's above 60 fps with a 60Hz monitor. However, you can see up to 120 fps on a 120Hz monitor. Makes everything more responsive.
Also you can drag windows around even and you'll notice it's more crisp and responsive than a normal monitor.

Also, with a 120hz monitor, you can use it as a 3d display, provided you get the glasses.

yeah. well im still on the lookout for (hopefully) a decent 120 Hz monitor. Also I want to edit my budget to try to find a good monitor that will cost at most $335. Thanks
