The person who was making a linux OS for the iPhone has managed to put Android on an iPhone 2G!
Link to blog, where you can download an alpha version:

Currently, this only works on the iPhone 2G but versions for the iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 1st gen will soon be available. And versions for the other iDevices (except the iPad) are in the works too.

Haha nice :D
-
saw this not that long ago its awsome XD
-
I've been following this since they first booted the Kernel :P
It has me excited :P can't wait to get a device that I can try it out on :P
-
Hmmm...this might make me get an iTouch, since the Pandora does not exist yet.
-
Is it free? and is it possible on itouch, or only for iphone?
-
Its free, but it hasnt been ported to iTouch yet.
-
They're making huge progress on this, so I wouldn't be surprised if an iTouch version is released in the near future.
-
Is it legal btw? I hope Apple or Google won't pull a Texas Instruments on people who got Android on iPhones x.x

Android is open source, so Google won't care.
-
Apple can't do anything either :p
