Title: Cool stuff with a projector
Post by: aeTIos on August 16, 2014, 04:52:00 pm
Over the last weekend my friend and I have been having tons of fun with a projector. We hooked up his playstation 2 with it and aimed it at the roof. However, the projector didn't have a stereo audio port. So I came up with a hack. We plugged the audio tulips into an A/V -> Scart converter, and plugged that into my little CRT television. Then, we connected the audio system to the headphone jack aaand... success! :D
I now have my commodore 64 hooked up on it and I must say, it's pretty cool. Gonna try this with my NES next week :P

edit: changed a kinda bad worded phrase (more like etiquette fixing but whatever)

slanted, white ceiling in low light: awesome.

If you would hook it to a computer, could it project Omnimaga/your browser?

It can but I prefer browsing on my computer. However for playing games with a controller it's awesome.

This looks pretty nice, but unless I put my bed under that I would never use such setup, because of my upper back+neck issues >.<

Someone I know plans to install a massive projector outdoor so we can play games in his backyards when sitting around a fire, but I hope he doesn't plan to play that one adult Atari 2600 game  <_<
