Title: Digital Camera + IR
Post by: Netham45 on October 27, 2006, 02:13:00 pm
Would it be possible to detect IR with a camera? Like, could I use my digital camera as a reciever for a remote to control, lets say Windows Media Player?

Ok, I want to use a webcam to detect IR beams from a remote over a webcam and read it, then execute a script, or a SendKey or something with it.

I want to use a remote with a USB digital camera to control Windows Media Player.

I think you'd need some crazy interpreters to do that, and even that it'd be dodgy.
