List of Ubuntu releases

I found lists of all the Ubuntu releases (4.10 to 11.10).
(These lists are on the Ubuntu website, so they must be legal!)
Releases 4.10 to 9.10
Releases 10.04.1 to 11.10

Yeah, I have to try 4.10 some day, it must be fun XD Is there anything prior to 4.10?

no, the first release was the 2004 October Warty Warthog.
"4(for '04).10(for october, 10th month)"
so this upcoming release is 11.10 Oneric Ocelot, version named for same reason, '11 and 10th month.

The version after will be 12.04 which will be LTS :)

LTS releases are every 4 release: 6.06, 8.04, 10.04 and 12.04 are LTS.
