It is a Gateway MX6***(haha, I forgot. :D
)It has a 20GB HD, 15.1" Widescreen LCD, and I just got it to work. I am currently pending parts to get it fully working, though(such as a keyboard, I have to lug a USB keyboard around with me.) But, YAYS!

Celeron 1.4GHz
512MB DDR2 Ram
15.4" widescreen CRT
(broken)DVD/CD-RW drive
20GB HD
I know it isn't anything special, but it was free. ^.^
It complements my Dell C610(the original Hamtop) well, which is a
P3 1.2GHz

20GB HD
15.1" 4:3 LCD
and cost me $50. yay. Pics may be coming later.

It runs flatout and Unreal Tournament(both do) and I havn't tried any other games on them.

the 2.8GHz processor I got doesn't work. apparantly, it is a desktop processor, which uses a socket 478, where my laptop has a 479 socket. They are physically identical, but they have different pinouts. boo!Also, my cousin gave it to his 3 yar olds, they beat on it, spilled coke, did pretty much every bad thing you could to it. The Harddrive was completely trashed when I got it, the screen is scratched, the back has big gouges in it.

Funny thing is, I never upgrade. Ever. I always recycle my old hardware and mix it with any newer hardware I might salvage from some of the trashed / abandoned PCs people give me. (I do tech support) I think my current desktop is something like:
- 20 year old mid-tower case (woo!)
- Sempron 1.6 GHz processor (relatively new)
- ATI Radeon 128 MB ATI graphics card (relatively new)
- 80 GB HD primary, 30 GB and 20 GB slave (some old, some new)
- some old generic DVD-ROM drive, and an HP CD-Writer Plus (16x max, I think)
- 256 MB DDR RAM (sort of new)
My first computer was a Micron PC Millenia Edition with 64 MB RAM, 4 MB integrated graphics chip, 20 GB HD, 700 MHz Celeron and a generic CD-ROM. I upgraded it to 512 MB RAM, 30 GB HD, 650 MHz P3, (which is actually much faster than a 700 MHz Celeron) threw in an old Voodoo graphics card and a SoundBlaster 16. I gave it to a needy friend who didn't have a PC at the time. :P
Ah, but I never forgot about it. I wonder how many other people remember their first computer.
