Decided to post this.
So I have an app called pandora's box that let's you see which apps are on sale for the iPhone. So I decided to post this for all of you iPhone/itouch users who like full apps that are free.
*note I'm only posting free apps that are notable.
- Today -
• art of war 2
--free for two days I believe
--it's a well done rts that will give you a challenge on easy, and I have not tried hard yet (too chicken :p)
--good grahics
--ok controls
- two days ago -
•my devices
--let's you see all the devices on your wifi network
--let's you see info about device
--let's you go to it's HTML page (like it's admin control panel and such)
--let's you view it's XML sheet

Now if only there was a $100 iphone model...
My gripe with that thing is that I wouldn't want to use it as a phone, because cellphone plans over here are overpriced and I am pretty fine paying just $10 a month for phone at home (costs split with my bro)

Well you could just get the $200 iPod touch (8GB) like I did :)
yeah I know what you mean. I would get a cellphone, but it costs to much...

Another issue I have at home is that I don't have wifi connection, Idk if that could be a problem
I don't use Wifi because it's not really reliable during Starcraft games

Yeah that would be a problem with all the apps that need wifi...but you can use iTunes to get all your apps.

Yeah well remember they are ony freebfor a short tine on this list...I could also post notable apps that are free and not on sale, like eliminate (which just got two new maps :p)

Mhmm I hope the contest was not a scam x.x
I know Texas Instruments did a contest once for teachers and it ended up being a scam x.x
Noahbaby94 almost (maybe unintentionally) turned an half of our own contest into a scam too x.x and I remember some old contests everywhere where someone worked hard on something and finally heard no more sign of life from the contest.
Could you e-mail Greenfoot admins and ask what's going on?

Hey guys, I recently noticed on the Apple Store that they are giving out 1 free app, song or video starting from 25th of December from a selection of the most popular ones. This will last for 12 days!
I just hope that by "apps", they also mean the ones for iPod nano (that's the only iPod I have)...

i doubt it, cuz when i had a ipod classic, all of the games were just called "games" and are in a completely different section of the apple store. "apps" are just for iphones and ipod touches (like me, i have a ipod touch 3g :D )

if apple says they are giving away ipod games too, those include the classic and nano. but if its just apps, then they mean the apps for iphones and ipod touches.

I think it's because both have some similar features and confuse the itouch as the iphone. I myself got confused for a while.

Yeah I didnt get an email or anything from apple and I havent heard anything either...but I do know that the Appvent Calendar had some pretty cool games that they were giving away for free only for a day for everyday up until christmas. I got some good free apps from it and you still have two days so check it out.

Did you got this via e-mail, other kind of message or something like this? If so, are you sure it's from Apple? Maybe it is a scam, so watch out.

It might be a scam, but if he saw it in the store it wouldn't be.

No, but I wish I was. I just thought the software was kinda cool and wanted to try it. :P
If I had enough money and wifi, I'd but an Ipod touch (but not an Iphone).

EDIT: You might be able to access this offer if you change the localization in the App Store.

yeah Idk if they track countries IPs. If it's from outside France maybe the person might have some trouble unless iPhone uses the same IP addresses and internet service worldwide.

Yeah :/ I don't think they track ip addresses but if they catch faked addresses and etc x.x
