Seems like the raspberry pi foundation decided to make the pi a bit better, presenting the model B+!
With the same price as the model B it has some more features, like 4 USB ports and more GPIO pins.
I'm personally pretty exceited about it, I might get one :3

Yep, saw it too on Hackaday, I might get one too when I get the money.

Meh, as I said, it's an upgrade but there's not really much to it. I want a (much) better CPU and at least 1GB RAM. Right now the Pi is cool only because of it's GPU. :P

It is the same price as the model B, though, so I think that newcomers would rather get a B+ than a B
-
Are they even continuing model B ?
-
Yeah, because some companies use the model b for some parts and thus they are continuing it as long as there is demand for it
-
Well, they said the B+ is a hardware revision (aka a new version) of the B.

I might end up getting this and using it as a base for a computer. My other will be used for good headless stuff.

As long as Rasberry Pi won't go the same route as TI did with the 84+CSE, such as keeping a very weak CPU even if they add plenty of things that the CPU can't even handle.
