Well mine is a gnome-terminal which is using the solarized colour palette; I am using tmux, which is how I split my panes, top left is irssi, top right is htop, bottom right is Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup and bottom left is just whenever I need to to type in a command. The shell is zsh (w/ oh-my-zsh) and a few of it's plugins.

Mine resembles this one too (sadface), but with Chrome in the background instead of Firefox, and usually not on Omni.

Keepin' it classy

Haha nice one!

If you want to be really classy, yellow text w/o a brightly colored background is especially fun to read.
Tho personal preference does come into play :P
-
To troll school computer users, you can always make the text the same color as the background, so people will think command line always shows an empty box :P
Actually don't do that at school, since it's kinda bad, but if for example you have a friend and you want to prank him on one of your computers where he tries to run an old game, that can be fun. :P

cmd won't let you IIRC. Or maybe it does.

Type color, then a hex byte, the first nibble is the background color and the other the foreground one. Type color /? for more info. Alternatively, you can always go to the properties (click the icon in the title bar then Properties or something).
