Title: Technology Emergency!
Post by: Ephraim B on March 19, 2015, 03:38:08 pm
Someone in my class, Azriel Ginian, said to me that his house is very high tech and his computer is also. He also said to me that he knows all the programming languages including Machine Code and he's only 15 years old! I need to work very fast. Can anyone help me quickly learn Machine Code?

"know all the programming languages" :P
How about asking him to name some of them  ;)

Before trying to learn it just because of that statement, make sure he knows machine code ;)

x86 still?
Start here: http://events.linuxfoundation.org/sites/events/files/slides/bpetkov-x86-hacks.pdf
Not all of that. But pay special attention to the general instruction format, ModRM, SIB, basic opcode groups. See the manual (http://"http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/processors/architectures-software-developer-manuals.html") for more.

He said to me he's not telling me
That means he's likely just trying to impress you. Forgive me if I don't entirely believe that he knows every single programming language, considering the multitudes available.

I fail to see how the the subject of this topic applies to the actual content of this topic.

HTML
PHP
C
C+
C#
Objective C
Phyton
Delphy
Java
Javascript
Pers
Visual Basic
Assembly
Lua
Batch
AutoIt
.Net
Ruby
SQL
Axe
...

So if he's 15...
How long did it take to learn each language, saying he started programming at the age of 10? :D
To become good in a language you need at least 2 years I guess...
Maybe my point is a little clearer to you now :)

Edit: and I guess I'm somehow just repeating what turiqwalrus just said :P

This kid actually is the tech guy in my school and he said to me that he knows everything. He said to me that he's not telling me about his computer and only his family knows about it. He also said to me that if he tells me, he's going to have to kill me. He also said to me that his wifi router is highly secure and I asked him if his family has a super computer and he said "maybe". He told me that his family's high tech computer is locked up in a room and that high tech computer is very secure. He said to me that that high tech computer is impossible to hack.

Your class mate is pulling your chain, and learning any language takes time and practice. It won't happen overnight.

Given the number of programming languages (hundreds, if not thousands—and “machine code” is not one language but one separate language for every single type of processor that exists), there's about as much chance of someone of any age truthfully claiming to know all of them as someone being able to fluently speak every single human language that ever existed.
