Vista is the evil demon thingy Microsoft gave birth to after making contracts with an estimated bazillion media producing companies, thus ensuring the end of freedom of speech, private data and all human rights in general.

I'll stay with Windows XP for only one reason:
Vista has nothing special about it's name, while XP is a cross between ":P" and "XD"

I prefer to not have my OS deleted without warning over teh interweb thank you very much.

and besides, Vista has no features that OS X hasn't had for at least a year and a half.

Hehe, but you do not know the Apple world as I do...there is gossip that Steve Jobs is getting pretty sick...and if Steve Jobs leaves, so will Apple :devilol:

nah, i'll take over of Apple, i already signed a contract and everything. So people, don't buy Vista or any other microsux (i mean microsoft) products and buy some Apple stuff.

I just needed a new laptop to replace the ten year old one I was using. And since Vista was coming out and there was a sale (only $500, which I'm assuming is good) I got it.
I'm sure I'll switch over to your 'better' OS's once I'm smart enough to work them, but for now Windoze is right for me.

I'm a Apple fan (even though I don't have a Mac) and so I'm gonna get a MacBook Pro l8r. But my friend's mom works @ Microsoft so she gets copies of Vista Ultimate for $10 so my friend can give me one for free

. I can't wait to try it out even though I don't really like Vista personally.

I heard vista screw up mp3s if you dont have the license or something and it doesnt run games perfectly.

I heard that if you try to download a game, Vista pops up a window that it could be dangerous. It does the same thing when you install the game or even play the downloaded game!

Vista is going to suck for me because my parents will definitely use the parental controls to prevent me from gaming. A keylogger might be useful, or I will just have to learn how to mess with the registry

It's interesting you can even dispose of admins using regedit only

My school didn't really like that one
