Title: XBMC re-purposed my netbook
Post by: Spyro543 on October 21, 2011, 06:58:52 pm
I got a netbook a little less then a year ago...and it died.

I then got a new laptop a few months ago (a really good one, too).

I now have this netbook sitting there, taking up space and not doing anything....
So I got the XBMC Live version and installed it to my netbook. It is now a large MP3 player!!!

XBMC 10.1 .ISO file (Warning: 414MB) (http://mirrors.xbmc.org/releases/live/xbmc-10.1-live.iso)

Here are some random pics:
Sorry about picture quality, these were taken with my phone.

Who downloaded the ISO for YOU!?! And who helped you to know how to use it!?! AND WHO gave you hints?!?!?

Me. And now I feel like chopped liver.

Anyways, XBMC is an awesome OS. Too bad it dosen't read many audio formats.

Cool, I might try it on the laptop I'm using to make a media center. I plugged my HDTV on it with a HDMI cable and it sits just on top of my satellite reciever below my TV.
