My dad has had a z88 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cambridge_Z88) for many years now, and he found this paper:

15 990 frank (for the 512k RAM pack) in that time was about 500 euro.
Times sure have changed =)

wow, nice :)
I should take some better pictures of the osborn I have in my room along with all it's floppies :P

TI sure wishes they could sell their 83+/84+ calcs this high <_<
-
Hey, it's got more RAM than my calculator :P
-
Thats not USD, right? O.O

15990 frank is €500 according to jimbauwens, and that's about 650 USD according to Google. Still pretty expensive considering it's got a Z80 inside, which also happens to be in your calculator XD

Lol, now I feel like going back in time and selling some electronics :P
Strangely enough, I found a very old (broken) ti laptop. It had an old Pentium, and 32MB of ram :)

I'd buy some nice i7s and go back to sell them to the worlds militaries for half their treasuries :P

No, but I don't think TI makes the processor in TI-83s, either.

Doesn't TI make some z80's?
