Looks nice! :)
Can you you show it in action (video clip?) using the HP Prime emulator?

I guess? I've never really made video screenshots though. Also the only function that works right now is the Open one. No modifying and saving yet.

For simple clips you can try this free handy utility: Evan's AVI Screen Capture : http://www.evanolds.com/sc_main.html that works just fine.
For more complicated video editing stuff you can google for 'Camtasia Studio 8'  (if you use windows) and with a bit of luck find a free version as well.

Or you could be really pro and use ffmpeg. I don't remember how though.

I could. Spiro's utility seems real nice though.

Among others, vlc can create animated screenshots. Last time I used it (years ago), it supported only full screen capture.
There are scriptable ways to crop images, either through a program which operates on movies, or through conversion to still images + cropping + conversion back to a movie.

Nice to see a skin editor :D

Also for screenshots I just use Camstudio + VirtualDub, but on Linux I am not familiar with the softwares.

Holy necropost I nearly forgot it existed until I got an email about it. I promptly uploaded it on GitHub as I left it in August 2013 for some reason. Coming soon: integration (and takeover?) into Erwin Ried's PrimeComm, apparently, that would be nice.

Good to hear. I was wondering what was happening with this. Btw nice to see some attention given to HP Prime dev again here. I hope I am less busy soon to code again :P

Aw humm, what are you doing exactly (if you don't mind my asking)?  Actually, i'd love to see some more of your programming stuff. ;)

I was working on some sort of pseudo 3D map engine that is merely multiple layers of tilemaps to create a 3D effect, but it was pretty buggy, and I was also working on Super Sonic Ball HP. I stopped coding for a bit after I got busy, though.
