It looks like they did.  I wrote a simple website tracker a long time ago, and set it up to watch for new OSes (among other things) and it said that the download was changed twice, then gave me 2.71 and 2.55.
lcan you tell me how you did that?  Because if you can watch a site for changes, you might still be able to use zds.

Hm, seems it's a typo on the website, I doubt they changed the .8Xu file.

Btw Sir how often does it checks? Because if it checks like every 3 minutes, TI could eventually ban your IP for bandwidth abuse or something. X.x

Also has anyone noticed some downtimes lately? Often when I tried to access the 84+ page I got a Proxy Error message. Before last week maintenance I would get a blank page everytime.

Unfortunately, I can't get on the computer for the rest of the night :/ you could probably ask thepenguin, though.

You're not posting from a "computer" currently?...

graphmastur, I'd prefer not to discuss such things in a public medium :P
Juju, it looks at file contents, not names.  I didn't get a chance to check it out, but it was somehow different.
DJ_O, every ten minutes.

I've got to go kick some ass at a Magic tourney, so I'll check up on this topic later.

What I was thinking at first. :P

I'm waiting for a proof.
Because something so important as a 2.71 OS (there's a big skip from 2.55) should have been shared/newsed/tested/screenshot immediatly!

Or in Europe.

Yeah this is why I asked for a copy, since I wanted to test it.

Also Sir you should maybe decrease it to 30 minutes or something, so it looks less suspicious on TI side. We have to keep in mind this is a large file hosted on a crappy server/connection.

I'm really concerned at the large number jump and the missing "MP" (unless Thepenguin made a typo and omitted the MP?) too...

My website: Currently boring.

Projects:
Axe Interpreter
   > Core: Done
   > Memory: Need write code to add constants.
   > Graphics: Rewritten.  Needs to integrate sprites with constants.
   > IO: GetKey done.  Need to add mostly homescreen IO stuff.
Croquette:
   > Stomping bugs
   > Internet version: On hold until I can make my website less boring/broken.

Me too.
I hope it's not just an April fool's joke, though.  I wonder what they could add to make that big of a version jump.
