Had no one signed up on the board since last night, this would have made it 6666 posts and 66 new registrations, meaning double evilness if we moved one 6 to the right ;D

It's funny if new members post in randomness and their postcount doesn't increase :P

I think I remember one member on the old board who had like 50 posts, but since he only posted in Randomness at first, he remained at 0 posts anyway during the entire time.
I think Calcdude84se on the new board has half of his posts in Randomness, because I know he signed up 2 months ago at least and was active ever since. This month he posted 300+ times, yet his member post count says he's barely over 300, meaning there are quite a lot of posts in Randomness :P

Because they aren't contributing anything useful or beneficial to the forums :P And because people sometimes used them to up their post count without posting in relevant topics.

^what Builderboy said, plus the fact it would become so much more tempting to post there that this section would become about half of the entire board total post count (like many forums I've seen, such as Radical_Pi/Nyrax one http://z11.invisionfree.com/RealityRevolution/index.php ), and eventually, this section would become the center of Omnimaga attention, as people would devote their entire time posting spam at the expense of other calculator sections. In other words, this would hurt Omnimaga in long term.
Heck, just with the board visible to guests it was enough for the old Omnimaga forum spam section to have 20% of the entire site activity. We even had to close the spam section one summer because nobody cared anymore about the rest of the sub-forum. It also would attract some rather troublesome users.

Really? Strange. There might be some in Intro. I guessed so because in June you had about 380 total, yet your post count showed 300. You posted since April and was already kinda active, meaning a lot of those posts were not included in your post count, meaning they were either in Randomness or Intro

weird. Maybe you had some sort of activity slump at one point in May, idk, or the monthly stats really got messed up.
