Yeah it was crazy in Quebec City and suburbs here, every sidewalk and most roads/parkings were icy. Rain and winter don't mix.

I thought you were talking of dry ice for a minute, and understood the major hate. Than I remembered what black ice was, and now I understand you major hate even deeper.
Try getting from the grocery store to my place with 3 bags of food on ice all the way. That is probably the shittiest thing I've ever done.

Yeah I went to the mall to eat something after work Saturday, then it started raining on the fresh ice. When I got out, I had to walk in the street then move back on the sidewalk without moving anymore when a car was passing by. It took me 12 minutes to come back home, even though it normally takes 6 from there. On top of that I have a knee injury so when I walk a lot during work my left knee becomes sore and I can't walk as fast and while the pain is far less bad than when I was put on work stoppage for 3 days in Early December, when I walk on slippery surfaces it tends to hurt even if I walk slowly.

I saw this topic title and instantly thought you were talking about Black Ice (firewall software) running on Windows ME, to which I was about to respond, "Why on God's green earth would anybody still be using Windows ME?" :P

I bet that some people still use 3.1.

There sure are. I think there are still people rocking their atari 800's.

Or use a calculator to browse the web :P

I went to the movies the other day and I managed to slip on ice a total of one time.

It's soooooooooo bad down south. We have stuff that looks like black ice, but it's just water!
/me runs
Yeah about 2 years ago we actually had a storm that generated black ice. School was out for the week because there are only a few salt trucks and snow plows in metro Atlanta. The roads are bad because no one knows how to drive on the slippery stuff. That's about it down here.
