Title: Epicly Failing Contest
Post by: Freyaday on August 10, 2011, 01:39:05 am
Let's see who can create the most epic fail!

I kick my shoe up in the air to predict the weather. It comes down in front of a passing truck, smashing through the windshield. The truck careens into a telephone pole, which breaks and falls over, caving in my skull and causing a rolling blackout across the whole of Russia.

I didn't get the point of the thread, so I decided to ask Freyaday.  I looked up all of his personal info, and his address, and saved up money for plane tickets.  When I get there, I find out he moved.  To the house across the street from mine.  And then I realize I forgot to buy return tickets.

I downgraded to Windows ME.  :P
I also kept OS 2.71MP on my 84.

I still think Windows ME is worse.  :P  Even MS-DOS was better... Okay, maybe not.  :P

I made a replica of the latest i7 processor with vacuum tubes.
And installed windows ME on that. BTW, the processor was so big I needed three warehouses to fit it in. (These chips have nearly a billion transistors, you know).

I'm sorry, apparently some people are too awesome to fail, or I don't know what failing is, but if you made an i7 out of vacuum tubes, and it worked, then that would be some epic win.

I was saying w00t and birds came and adopted me. I can now fly. I also am addicted to drinking non-stick spray.
Then I installed Windows 3.1 on my new laptop and replaced my i5 processor with an ARM processor.

I edit windows ME to work on an IBM 8088 processor (and I dont debug the edited version), then I edit ie6 to work on my clone of ME (again without debugging of course). I am proud of my work. I dare to boot it. it gives me an error saying "ie6 is causing this computer to self destruct." the computer fans start braking one by one, the processor overheats, at the same time a capacitor is overcharging. the capacitor explodes and the processor starts melting all the electronics in the comp. then the electricity i am sucking from the power plant causes half the country to have a blackout, while the other half is having a brown out. On top of that the city burns down from the heat of my comp.

I think i made this soooooo long that it isn't funny. which is actually the epic fail i was trieing to produce.

{TRUE STORY :P}

We were playing some music in band. There was a whole note tied to a dotted half note. I thought the band teacher made the hand stopping motion after 6 counts instead of 7, so I said, "{insert name here}, there was a dotted half note there, not just a half note." When I was putting my trumpet away (yes I play trumpet), iVenom (yes we're best friends IRL and go to school together) told me that I played 8 counts, and the band teacher correctly conducted and everyone else played it correctly except for me.

I once succeeded in writing a 1-byte quadratic solver including the byte %10101010, but sadly I lost it in a crash and never was able to recover it. :(

So sad, Travis, so sad. That's why you always back up your work, even when it's a single byte and you know part of your program from memory.
