Well apparently there were plenty of other staff online earlier, so I'm guessing one of the first to notice the incident probably blocked the accounts.

However ARS cannot delete accounts from what I remember so if no admin passed by then that probably explains it. I remember I didn't delete troll posts but deleted flood too.

Um, the accounts are still not banned? But the weird thing is the post count is only 1 for yvan_dubois and 0 for asdf

I think the policies about ban+deletion changed, right? I noticed since the Ashbad ban no more account (such as KnightOS/NUGGET/janri and most bots) no longer get deleted ???

Yay! Cheers to Juju! And you're not in danger, I hope.

I am also wondering, we must have lots of spambots or something rather because there have been 8774 accounts registered and there are only 1849 who are now currently members. That means nearly 7000 duplicate/fake/spam/bot accounts have been created and deleted. Is this right?

(I'm 874, btw)

Well, the ones who gets caught in our Stop Forum Spam plugin are almost always rejected, but still gets an ID number, which is kinda annoying. And nowadays, we get like 100+ accounts in the list of people to reject because they are spambots at any time. The number just exponencially jumped one day from 3-4 a day and never came back to normal.

Yeah, he used the same IP on every account. But the point here was to ban that IP from here to make me mad (because I often go here from school) and to make me work on whatever I was working on, but actually it had the complete opposite effect (i.e. making me stop working). And I bet I have several failed logins in the logs for my account as he was probably trying to guess what was my super secret password. Which is CENSORED.
