Guys, it has nothing to due with Apple being a fail or whatever.  It has everything to do with the fact that Apple is following the law.  Seriously, Safari has parental controls, Opera does not.  I've got a computer desktop encyclopedia that has the same label.  It has nothing to do with Opera, just that it has access to the internet.

The law is weird. They put a 17+ label just because nothing keeps you from watching your porn with it. IMHO, they could have done like video game and say "Online content is not rated by the ESRB" or something, but no. They just scare people off with a 17+ label.

17+ damn them. I'm only 16.5 and I demand that browser. And really what the hell is a 17+ label supposed to even do. You may have noticed that they're not that hard to get around. and I know that I would get stabbed if I ever put an age checker on one of my calc games.

Because of the fear that you can access pr0n, and that there are no restrictions available to parents like Safari has.

This is funny xD apple goes downsizes itself by telling things like there to their users.
Everyone knows that apple's safari isn't the worst because micr0sof7 still insists on battling on the lost war of browsers :P

I disagree, Microsoft is fighting hard now with IE9, which is an opponent to Chrome and Firefox. They are not death, but only joined the war now.

Lol, it's like they assume the first site a kid will ever go to browse on purpose is an adult site. <_<
