Easter Eggs ftw!
-
Now that is funny.
-
ah, that one. I've seen it myself, so no surprise.
Always amusing to see, though. ;D
Edit: The "Did you mean:" line for http://lmgtfy.com/?q=recursion (http://lmgtfy.com/?q=recursion) is also amusing

Type in any one of these phrases and hit 'I'm Feeling Lucky'.
Also the calculator knows some more things than just '42'.
Try googling these:
All I found. =P
(Loved the 'recursion' thing though.)
-
Also, you could try 'french military victories' and hit 'I'm Feeling Lucky'.
-
that is genius...go yankees!
-
I remember the Weapons Of Mass Destruction one. French Canadians may also remember the Mouton Insignifiant one, as well (which translated to "retarded sheep" and redirected to Quebec actual Prime Minister biography)
-
Should have patented it while I had the chance...
That sounds like the one where searching for "miserable failure" (in the US) before 2008 showed President Bush's biography as the first hit.
And here's the WMD (still a classic): http://www.timmonet.co.uk/html/wmderror.htm

hehe nice
Too bad it doesn't look as funny now that most people no longer use IE6, though :(
It would be funny if they made it dynamic, showing an error similar to the browser you are using to display the page. :P
-
And a funny thing I found relating to IE6 (I'll upload the picture when I have the chance): I just saw a car that had a totally random license plate reading B-OO I E9. Nice to see nature hates IE as much as we do.
-
Haha, a sign that IE9 will suck even more? :P
That reminds me, is there even a IE9 beta out?

Oh, no. NO! I didn't even know there actually was one.
And apparently, it processes HTML5 faster than Chrome. IE making a comeback?
Public beta's coming out in August: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_Explorer_9#Release_history

I see. Well, if they make a comeback, then good for them. Back in the old days, at least they were more up to date than Netscape, but that's long before Mozilla and Opera became good. However, regardless of how good IE9 is, does it means they'll keep it up to date regulary? I remember IE6 not being that bad back in the days, and it took Microsoft 6 years before they update it. Also, considering how slow IE8 is on old computers, I am pretty sure IE9 will be even worse, meaning people with old computers may not even be able to run it at all, unlike Opera and Chrome. Even Firefox, despite taking a minute to boot, is not very CPU-intensive on old comps.
-
Yeah, apparently IE9 doesn't work on XP anymore. I think they might start updating IE more often, since IE9 is the first time they're releasing it separately from any Windows version (meaning it's a separate project, like all the other browsers).
-
I see. Then they'll require us to pay to get IE on our comp? ::)
-
:D Imagine if they released a Mac version.
-
ugh I have bad memories of IE mac at school. That's all we had in college x.x
