Title: The Bauwen Brothers
Post by: Munchor on March 09, 2011, 12:40:18 pm
I had some difficulties understanding who is who between Stefan Bauwens and Jim Bauwens, the two new members of the Omnimaga community and they are brothers and have more 13 brothers/sisters (so they're 15, it seems).

In the meanwhile to help you all with this, I decided to make a table to help you guys with distinguishing the new members:

Hope this helps you!

Interesting table, Scout.

That's kinda fun how two brothers joined the board together at nearly the same time.

Wait, is their family that huge? O.O

I didn't thought such family still existed. Over here families of 20-25 kids were common in the 1950's but today the max is 1-3. That would actually be funny if more people from their family joined and did calc stuff too, as this would probably make it the largest group of Omnimaga users that know each others in person besides Cooliojazz group (Him, Briecheese, Bones178 and megajake03).

AAAAH, this is so confusing!

(Edit: btw, I still have a younger in-progress calculator freak)
(Edit2: and an older brother who tough me everything)

So, get your older and younger brother to join.  The nice thing about this is, that if one of you gets banned, the other brothers/sisters will take care of it because they can't get on Omnimaga.  Sweet.

DJ, I know a family in this area with 15, and 2 with 12 kids, so.....probably. It's not exactly impossible :P

And don't bring up polygamy :P it's not why. just because I live in Utah....

The concern I have about such large family is that if you're not rich it must be friggin hectic. Alone I could live with 10K a month if I wanted (I earn more), but imagine when you have 10 kids to feed and none of the parents work.

Lol :P

That said it would be cool if other calc fans in your family eventually joined too. :D

Well, my older brother is currently 32, and his calc years were about 8 years ago.
Right now life is catching up with him, and he doesn't have the time to continue calculator programming.
The one younger than me and Stefan has just started his programming experience, and has still a long way to go.

Both of my parents don't work, and we are right now in some kind of financial situation, but its not bad enough to take us down.
And it isn't friggin hectic either :)

AH ok good, because over here there are families of 6 kids, still, that can barely meet both ends. x.x
