Could this be what we'll be using after the site upgrades to SMF 2.0?

Kinda looks like Sweet Bro and Hella Jeff (http://www.mspaintadventures.com/sweetbroandhellajeff/), which is obviously the best website ever after Omnimaga.
I'd totally use that theme.

What if something like the nspire theme editor was set up, so whenever you press "r" all the colors are randomized :P
-
Oh dang it, how did you guess that, it was supposed to be a secret! :(

But it wouln't allow third-party code D:
-
why not hitting 'r' making a rickroll popup

I really don't like the yellow and green, will there be an option to change it when you are signed in? I really like websites with light blues or grays.

HOW can you make this look so JPEG???
-
Just use Paint. :P
-
Photoshop also does a great job, just remember to set the quality to 0 when saving in JPEG.
-
True, but Paint has no quality settings and it just saves into something equivalent to 10% or worse. Don't get me started on animated GIFs, where Paint manages to destroy the colors even if your image already has 256 colors or less.
-
W7's Paint correctly supports gif, PNG and jpeg. It lacks transparency but saving as a PNG doesn't use the jpeg compression. Always save a PNG.
-
I tried saving a GIF in W7 Paint once and I still had the same dithering disaster that I had in Windows 98, 2000 and XP. Same for JPEGs. And yes I use PNGs now.
-
Yep, PNG uses zlib compression, which is lossless.
-
PNGs are just about the best thing ever when it comes to images. Now if only you could do APNGs in Gimp without having to rip your arm off..
-
WebP (https://developers.google.com/speed/webp/) is pretty great as well.
-
Kinda a shame animated PNG (APNG or MNG) isn't as widely supported as GIF. That would successfully replace it, given time.
-
In fact, until recently, PNG alone was still not as widely supported as GIF/JPG. For example, when I first used XP, it took several Windows updates before M$ Paint finally gives me an option to save as PNG and IIRC, IE6 didn't even support PNG transparency.
